Tévez Heads Madrid's Winter Shopping List

Thursday, 13 November 08, 10:02 AM · Comments(2)

Carlos Tévez is on Real Madrid's shopping list for the January sales after it was revealed that the Spanish giants are determined to buy a new forward in the light of Ruud van Nistelrooy's injury.

Los Merengues' coach Bernd Schuster stated in the summer that he wanted another attacking player to add to his ranks and he may be given his wish in the winter market.

At the top of Madrid's list is Carlos Tévez and their interest will have grown after reports in England that the player is concerned about his future at Manchester United.

In June 2007, his agent Adrian Ruocco first held talks with the Spanish giants and is well known to the Bernabéu club after several rounds of negotiations about a move.

United have the option to buy Tévez in January for €37 million, but Madrid are hoping that Sir Alex Ferguson chooses not to take that up and looks elsewhere for additions to his squad.

While that may be a vain hope, the reigning Primera División champions have several other names that they are also considering and the majority would require less effort to sign.

Cruzeiro's 20-year-old Gilhereme, Corinthians Dentinho, Palmeiras' Alex Mineiro, CSKA's utility starlet Alan Dzagoev and Partizan's Adem Ljajic have all been linked to the club.

LMAO !!

Here we go again, Real Madrid parading around like they own the European footballing market !!

General Franco is no longer their owner but they still have his attitude !

Until the likes of Tevez and Ronaldo become available for sale, as decided by ALEX FERGUSON and no one else, I suggest they entertain themselves with something else, because they wont be forcing Manchester United to do ANYTHING, we're far too big to be bullied by these clowns !!
