Where is it all going wrong for Barca?
Yesterday they drew their first home game of the season against Racing 1 v 1. It was a frustrating game for Pep Guardiola who decided to take heed of Maradona's comments and resting Messi to start with, as soon as he came on he made a positive impact and also netted the penalty.
There were a few dubious decisions made by the ref, Pinillos should have had a red card for a tackle on Hleb, Iniesta should have had a penalty but then so should Racing at the other end.
Dani Alves and Keita, both former Sevillistas both had good games, but it was difficult for Barca to break down Racing's tight defense.
Atlectico, on the other hand, lost 2 v 1 away at Valldolid, they were 2 v 0 down after just 27 minutes and spent the rest of the game chasing. Kun, ex partner of Fernando Torres, netted their only goal.
Both Barca and Atletico will be looking for more impressive performances this Tuesday in the Champions League, Barca are at home to Sporting Lisbon and Atletico away to PSV Eindhoven.
