Del Piero - Forever Young

Sunday, 20 April 08, 07:59 PM

I have just finished watching Juventus beat Atalanta 4-0 in Bergamo, a game in witch 33 year old Alessandro Del Piero scored a Hat-trick. Del Piero is the top scorer and holds the record of appearances for Juve. Before the 07-08 season began Del Piero had already been written off as a 'has been'. I can only imagine the satisfaction that Del Piero must have as he hit his 17th goal of the season that put him 3rd in the top scorers of the Italian league. Not too bad for a 33 year old. Del piero is my favourite player and I love to see him succeed because Alex is not only a great player to watch , he is also a great person who has a lot of good values. I would not be surprised if come the end of the season Del Piero will be top of the top scorers chart in Italy!

JUVENTUS VS ATALANTA (MY DREAM ACHIEVED!)

Monday, 10 December 07, 07:16 PM

I have just returned from Torino a few hours ago and I can truly say it was the best holiday of my life! I went to Torino with my dad to see Juventus play Atalanta. It was an amazing game with chanses flying in all the time. I got to see my heroes right in front of me for the first time. The score was still 0-0 at the end of the first half and then my idol, Del Piero came on and changed the game. His tricks, vision and accurate passing made my mouth water! He then set up Nedved to score the winner which also happened to be his first goal in this championship and his 165th goal in Serie A. The stadium erupted with joy and everyone started chanting Nedved's name. This was an amazing experience that I will cherish forever. Did you ever go and watch your favourite team plat? If yes, post on this blog, and if no, post on how you would like to go!

Napoli-3 Juventus-1 Referee Disgrace

Sunday, 28 October 07, 04:44 PM

Anyone who saw the Napoli vs Juventus match knows what I am talking about. You can be a Napoli fan and still say that the two penalties the referee gave out in five minutes were, pardon my language, bullshit. Yes it was a young referee but that is no excuse because Juventus should have gotten a point and not 0. Referees are being biased to Juventus because of reasons past. This is unacceptable, Juventus did their time and know are back among the elite, We demand respect and fairness.

Juventus Thrash Livorno 5-1

Saturday, 25 August 07, 10:40 PM

Juventus killed Livorno today 5-1 with goals from iaquinta and Trezeguet. Trezeguet scoreda  hat trick to mark Juve's return to Serie A. Livorno were a modest side though and i dont know if Juve will play that good against Inter or milan, but I hope so!

English Game Not Good For Italians

Saturday, 14 July 07, 04:37 PM

With the news of Manchester City signing Rolando Bianchi of Reggina I couldn't help myself but feel sorry for the guy. Italian strikers have very rarley shined in the Premier league, Gianluca Vialli and Gianfranco Zola being the only exceptions. The latest Italian flukes were Bernardo Corradi of Manchester city! and Vincenzo Montella of Fulham, so what makes the Premiership such a hard place to play in for the Italians?

Who Will Win Serie A Next Season??

Thursday, 12 July 07, 06:00 AM

Being a Juventus fan myself I can only wish that Juventus retain their title but deep down I know this will not happen, at least not yet. Will Inter do the Triple and win the league again? Or will Milan step up to the plate and win the Scudetto or maybe Roma will finally reach their potential and win it all! What do you think?

Nedved Contract still not renewed

Tuesday, 10 July 07, 01:04 PM

I dont know what the board of directors are playing at! Didn't they notice Nedved scored 8 goals for them last season. Yet still they have not renewd his contract! This is ridiculous in my opinion because Nedved is still one of the best players out there. I hope that in the future they will change their mind and renew Pavel's contract. He could be a very valuable asset in Serie A next season.

Milan Champions League Winners or Cheaters?

Monday, 09 July 07, 06:00 AM

When I was watching the Champions League Final I couldn't help myself but think of who could have replaced Milan in the final. Milan should not have been in the Champions league because of the points penalty they received . But ofcourse it was reduced on appeal and they were allowed to return. With the extra motivation Milan won the Champions league. It was a tainted victory in my opinion as they were unjustly put back into the Champions league when they were part of a match fixing scandal
