My Email on You're on Sky Sports

I completely forgot to mention this in my blog, but as I feel so special, I shall give it it's own blog and not just an UPDATE on the other one.

Sitting yesterday after the match I was seething/stewing/ranting, sometimes it was one at a time, sometimes all three. Anyway, You're on Sky Sports was on and I decided I'd send them an email.

Imagine my surprise when they started to read it out live on air...then imagine my partner's surprise as I made a mad dash for the remote to turn it up, managed to put it on mute and then change the channel. So, all I heard was the first bit "We have an email here from Leanne Hurley" and the end bit "to stamp on Van Persie’s head, luckily missing and only raking his studs down his face?." I don't think she read out the bit where I ranted about what a fat lot of use a retrospective ban was to us, but she did laugh when she seen how I signed my name and that makes me happy..she didn't read it out as I had written it, but she did say "and that was from Leanne Hurley who is [giggles] an Arsenal fan."

Get me and my name being on Sky Sports twice :D How did I manage to forget to mention my alter-ego LadyArse? Ah well. A tip, I think, it helps if you put in a subject line that's a bit away from what you think everyone else will be saying. I went for "FA Action Adebayor stamp on Van Persie" as opposed to my preferred "Do you think Adebayor is a cunt as well?"

Here's my email in all it's non-spectacular bevity:

Do you think the FA will take action as the referee missed Adebayor attempting to stamp on Van Persie’s head, luckily missing and only raking his studs down his face? Even if they do ban him, it makes no difference to Arsenal as he shouldn’t have been on the pitch to score the third and celebrate as he did.
