Most of the news in today's press regarding Arsenal, is not, in fact about Arsenal, but more about the cave-men (and no doubt women and children) who are allegedly Birmingham supporters. I can't say that I heard their chant about Martin Taylor after Ridgewell had felled Theo, but the fact that Wenger felt strongly enough to brand them a disgrace means that they must have been quite loud.
Rightly, he has said that that sort of thing is unacceptable. Not only did Martin Taylor escape vilification in the press (something Eduardo was not able to do for simply falling over) but the fact that he has become some sort of cult hero for his hatchet-job on a fellow professional, has lied about his apologies, and lied about his visits to Eduardo's hospital bedside, shows the depths to which some in the game we all love can go. The Birmingham fans who were chanting 'There's only one Martin Taylor' must have more air in their heads than the infamous Liverpool Beachball.
Hateful.
But will anything be done about it? Doubtful, after all, if you can call Wenger a paedophile for years and have no action taken against you, what is the likliehood anything will be done here.
I started a blog a while back, one which I never finished, after the match at Man U, asking just when do chants go too far? This one did but I suppose there's nothing that we can do about other that ensure if Martin Taylor ever does manage to get on a pitch against Arsenal Alex Song and The Verminator show him how there is only one of them too and that's all that's needed. It's not known how Eduardo, who was at the Emirates on Saturday, took the chants, but hopefully it was with a lot of salt, a sprinkling of pepper, and the inspiration needed to put six past them when we head their way in March.
Theo may be out for up to three weeks, which in Arsenal speak means the rest of the season. With Nasri supposedly nearly back, it seems the injury hokey cokey is still on the go.
You may remember me ranting about the Arsenal iPhone App the other day and it seems that not many people had the same problem paying for it as I did as it has shot into the top 10 Apps in iTunes. Well, perhaps they did have the same problem and gave in like I also did.
In other 'news', my first Arsenal T-shirt arrived (one printed externally and not a transfer) an dit looks fucking awesome if I do say so myself. If I had a shop I'd make a fortune! Have you got yours yet? Loads more designs coming, so make sure you keep coming back to have a look.
And that's where I'll end it for today, always good to end on a self-promoting note I think, have a ton of transfers to print (can't believe how well they are selling) so gotta get stuck into sorting that lot out, hence the short blog.
Til tomorrow then and a review of our Champions League match when I shall be discussing which three players we have available, and what position Doris the tea lady shall be playing (I hear it's wide left).
Laters....

You're only trying to stir it up by putting Doris in the team.
The Martin Taylor chants were ugly but I half expected something like that on Saturday.
I'm just glad Eduardo wasn't playing. Had he been the one taken down, that would have created a shit storm for sure!
I'm glad to see the club have put the article up on the site too. It's good to see.
I think I've saw 'Cesc pistols' on a t-shirt about three years ago
I will be more than happy now for them to be relegated...
You probably did..but it wasn't like mine
I think there's a fan or blog that goes by that name.
Har Har
You can buy Cesc Pistols t-shirts here

I really shouldn't have put that on your blog. Sorry.
Just to balance it up I think I recognise the artwork here
LINK
but they don't have the cannon....or the 'live at the grove' or the retro club badge...all in all, theirs are a very plain, obvious, and poor version
LMAO
I'll forgive ya...but you might be sitting on your own against Everton
I know it's corny but it's the best I could do.
I can't say all my t-shirts are original ideas, but I do like to think that I can take an idea and make it better...could be self-delusion, but it keeps me out of trouble
I think I've rectified it now
and hopefully, within a few weeks, i'll be able to supply t-shirt with transfer applied for 12.99 inc p&p (to UK)
so long as it doesn't get you in trouble
That's very reasonable. Who's ironing them on? Is it you or is Garantia helping out?
Yeah, but you're undermining the basic premise of the parody: To remain faithful to the original material.
...please don't hurt me.
It shall be me...so god knows what shape they'll end up in lol
Look matey....nah, only messing, would never hurt you
...I get what you're saying, but an exact parody wasn't what I was going for, I don't think about things enough to do that...if that makes sense...
Does the existence of one negate the existence of the other? I think the two Cesc Pistols tops can exist in harmony rather than in opposition.
Once he's captain of my Fantasy team I don't care.
