copa america underdogs

Tuesday, 10 July 07, 10:22 AM · Comments(16)

Argentina is the favorite to when the copa america, but any body can beat them. Just look at 06wc, almost nobody thought that Italy would win. that is why they play the game. but i want to know who you think willbe the underdog who makes it all the way.

I think Mexico will make all the way. Mostly because of their great form as of late. Nery Castillo has been a revelation and so has guardado. Since Mexico lost the final of the gold cup to the USA
they want to make amends and win the Copa America.

I hope you're right bijuventusfan but Nery Castillo's doubtful for the match. Apparently there's swelling in his knee from the Paraguay match. With him in the line-up Mexico had a good chance but
without him it's going to be a difficult task. Argentina has all its players healthy and they're just loaded with talent.

Since Brazil cannot be considered an Underdog & Uruguay is in this stage thanks to being the least bad team I think that there is no doubt that Mexico is the Underdog. In Mexico the press is
repeatedly saying that the Arg-Mex game is an Early Final but; you never know, ¿Who thought the Par-Mex game would be a blowout...it was supposed to be the closest of the 4 quarterfinal matches. Go
Mexico but I wouldn't be suprised if Argentina beats us since they (Arg.) flew to Venezuela with the best of the best...

WHAT?!?!?!!?! Brazil is playing with their B-C squad they are definitely the underdogs! Argentina and Mexico are playing with all their stars. Brazil is missing….Julio Cesar, Rogerio, Kaka,
Ronaldinho, Oliveira, Juninho, Serginho, Cincinho, Adriano….and so on. But remember last copa when Brazil were the underdogs to Argentina, Brazil again with their b squad and they still beat them! I
don't think it will happen this time around but to say we are not the underdogs is not knowing crap about the teams.

Are you saying Brazil is the underdog vs Uruguay today? Why not? I'm just questioning your arguments from above. Just because they have a B squad doesn't make Brazil an underdog... That's my view
and; yes, maybe I know CRAP about the teams.

Did I mention Uruguay? And when you bring your practice squad and the other teams bring their stars....uuhh yes it makes you the underdog.

Brazil "B" squad? Missing two of their main players makes it "B" squad. Come on!

WOW! Don't get your panties all in a knot. All I've heard from others and commentors from the start of Copa Amer. are the "2" main key players; Kaka' and Ronaldhino. But excuse me for affending you.

Juan its okay for not knowing, but I gave you the players names in my post so to come back with only 2 players is strange. Ohh and I forgot to mention "Fred" but he is injured. If you look at history
Brazil always bring their b-squad to Copa America they look at the tournament as a good springboard for the younger players to get ready for the World Cup. Hmmmm could be why they won 5 times!

IM TIRED OF HEARING PEOPLE SAYING ALL THIS BULLSHIT THAT BRAZIL IS PLAYING WITH THEIR "B" OR 'C" SQUAD AND THAT SUPOSEDLY THATS Y THEY LOST 2 MEXICO MAN U NEED 2 STFU. MOST OF BRAZILS SQUAD PLAYS IN
EUROPE, HAVING A TEAM ALMOST FULL OF EUROPEAN PLAYERS IS AN AMAZING TEAM,MEXICO PLAYED WITH ONLY 2 EUROPEAN PLAYERS ND BEAT EM SO IT DNT MATTER IF IT WAS A B OR C SQUAD WAT MATTERS IS THAT THEY
PLAYED A SQUAD MAINLY WITH EUROPEAN PLAYERS AND THEY LOST...
