Thank you gochelsea, I was the one who wrote that comment on your post. But, do you see my point? gonzilla said," i actually think we're better for it". Dude, you weren't better when Thierry was
sitting in the stands. Now, you are far from being better, while he's playing for Barcelona! And I guess i like Eduardo da Silva, but come on...$32 million and you buy HIM and give HIM the classic #9
shirt? What the fffff....
anti-madridista: obviously you did not read my whole comment. i said better in the long run. there is a business that comes with football, which apparently you do not understand. while barcelona paid
£16M for henry, that money is gone. he is almost 30, and will have no resale value. Eduardo, on the other hand, was bought for £7.25 and not £16M as you think. He is only 24 and depending on how well
he plays, can still be sold down the road. and if you think that eduardo was a bad signing, wenger has a very good track record of signing talent on the cheap ... remember when he signed a 15 year
old catalan for almost nothing? i think the name was cesc fabregas ...
henry is definetly not a traitor, wenger is a very smart and successful manager, he made a lot of money getting rid of the 30 tear old henry. i think wenger did the smart thing. i think gunner fans
should have faith in arsene, like gonzilla said, look at what he did with fabregas. BRILLIANT
Sorry, gonzilla, but, if you if you can remeber, Cesc was signed by Arsenal, BUT he was traded for Gio van Bronckhorst. Let me tell you, I don't know about you, but i know my team, Barcelona. If Gio
wasn't available, trust me on this, Cesc would NOT have been sold, so...
but, let us NOT argue. There is a big bond between the gunners and the catalans.
actually, cesc was already signed by arsenal since he did not really have a pro contract with barca. they were compensated with van bronckhorst + £2M after an appeal to uefa.

I couldn't agree with you more - though I know that if I were an Arse fan I would be pretty upset by his departure.
i'm not ... i actually think we're better for it. although it might be bleek for a season or two, i think in the long run it is best that henry was sold. my biggest concern at the moment is wenger
and for satan kroenke to stay away from the club. not that i have anything against him, but it seems wenger prefers the club not to sell. and when they said no one person is bigger than the club ...
they haven't seen what wenger has done for arsenal.
