Real Madrid midfielders Fernando Gago and Guti have resumed on-the-field training with the rest of the squad as they continue to recover from their injuries.
The midfield duo are making good progress to recover from their respective muscular ailments that they sustained last month as they look to regain full fitness in time for the derbi clash with Atlético Madrid in a fortnight.
Both Guti and Gago stepped on to the Valdebebas training ground turf for the first time to commence the normal training routine and the Argentinean was even able to practice with the ball.
Their return will be a huge boost to coach, Bernd Schuster, who has had to utilize the same midfield line of Diarrà, Van der Vaart and De la Red in the last four games in succession.
The only headache now for the German coach is that he will only have his full squad available for training on the eve of El Derbi Madrileño – due to the international – break and he will have to hope all his players return from national duty unscathed.
Los Merengues will take on Atleti at the Calderón on October 19 before jetting off to Turin to face Juventus three days later.
even if he is fit,Schuster wont use him as starter!
