New Features on MatesOdds

Search Field - added!
We've now introduced this nifty little tool, to make it easier to find your mates on the site. Simply type in their name, find them and add them as mates.
Upload Contacts - added!
Now you can send out invites to all your mates in one go from your GMail, Hotmail, AOL & Yahoo email accounts. Inviting mates to MatesOdds couldn't be easier!
Bugs Fixed & Interfaced Tweaked - done!
Since our launch we've had numerous suggestions for enhanced user experience and you know what? We've added them. And for those who've used our comments / suggestions box. We salute you, you know who you are!
Word in the dug out
A rumour leaking out of MatesOdds HQ is that we'll be implementing more new features very soon. I hear something about 'private groups'. Definitely a cool way to set up your own micro-community within MatesOdds...more news to follow.

Find Your Mates on MatesOdds

You ask for it…you get it
We're getting great feedback from everyone who's using the site; and one of the key features you've been wanting to see is the ability to search for your mates whilst logged into MatesOdds. So our dev team have added a nifty little search box so you can do just that.
Now you can find your mates, add them as friends and start giving 'em some banter.
Soon we'll be adding more new features, so stay tuned folks...

MatesOdds Getting Plenty of Action

MatesOdds has seen plenty of betting action over the last week, a few unpredictable sporting results have led to plenty of winning bets and of course a few losses too!
I for one went head to head with Matt earlier in the week and backed Arsenal at £20 evens to win the North London derby only to see the Young Guns get turned over by Spurs - I mean come on who saw that coming? (Nice one Matt.... I'm really happy for ya!)
There's plenty more action going on so if you haven't done so sign up for an account and start giving some banter, you never know someone may just challenge you!

We are very pleased to announce that MatesOdds Beta2 has now gone live.
If you've joined our mailing list you will receive a personalised email throughout the course of this week. There have been so many of you wanting to get involved we decided to split the
email notifications into chunks (for load testing). If however you’re reading this post not having received your email (and cant wait) then head on over right now to set up your profile

Guys, were getting closer to launching MatesOdds
I've been working on a website with my mates. The site is free to join and you can win £400 cash a month for betting and chatting about football. We need to people to sign up and test the site, hopefully you might help out? It would be great to get some bets going with other group members - say Manchester United! Or even poor old Chelsea ;-)

Recent developments have presented us with a temporary set back; meaning the ‘real money betting’ launch date must be delayed until this little irritation gets...erm...itched. And oh yes it will be itched; we just need a bit more time to make it so…
However, all is not lost.
At MatesOdds HQ we are a persistent bunch and regardless of our slightly niggling news we decided to push ahead anyway - and out of the ashes rises a phoenix so to speak - you see we've added a new and exciting twist to the mix that we think you’ll like… a lot!
Everybody who signs up to MatesOdds.com will start off with a tidy sum of £500 ‘play money’ added to their account. At the end of every calendar month the Top 5 players with the highest return on their £500 capital (earned through winning bets of course) will be ranked and presented in our Movers & Shakers League Table. And here’s the best bit - for the Top 5 placements we’ll be paying out real money prizes:
1st - £400
2nd - £275
3rd - £175
4th - £125
5th - £75
(payable by cheque)
Play Money accounts will be reset at the end of each month. All past monthly performances will be recorded and displayed on members’ profiles so everybody can track each others betting highs… and lows!
We’re also paying out real money for the highest Kudos Points. Kudos is points earned for all the other MatesOdds activities such as chatting in community forums, inviting friends to join MatesOdds and leaving feedback for those you’ve bet with. The Top 5 players with the highest Kudos Points at the end of the calendar month will be paid out as follows:
1st - £100
2nd - £75
3rd - £50
4th - £25
5th - £10
(payable by cheque)
This is an exciting time for us as we know there’s genuine interest in MatesOdds due to the high level of registrations thus far. But we want more, so if you fancy taking a shot at winning £400 a month for betting on your sporting knowledge, get your mates involved and send them to MatesOdds.com to register.
