SoccerCell, I get what you're trying to say, but when did I say anything about Angel, Fred, Blanco, etc, taking free-kicks? I just said that MLS would still be very entertaining without "Golden
Balls". Did you not see the young talent in that NY/LA game? I certainly did, when I was there. My attention was NOT focused on Beckham, like everyone else's. I was focused on the game. The game, the

I get that anti and the game is great but Becks makes more people realize how great it is.....Americans like shootouts and if more MLS games were 5-6 or 3-4 for that matter that would genereate

Yes, thank you for getting my point, SoccerCell. You're right, when you say that the media doesn't focus on Messi, Ronaldinho, etc. because they don't play in MLS. But, they focus on Beckham WAY too
much. If the media want the sport to succeed in this country, as I do, they need to open the doors, and show this country Messi, Ronaldinho, Wazza, CR7, etc. Because if they don't, then people might
turn on the channel and see Beckham and they might think that he's the best there is, when, clearly, he's not. If they show more of the players I mentioned, then this sport would be phenomal in this
country. I mean, having my club, FC Barcelona, come here and play 3 games for their pre-season is great. But, they need to focus a little more on Barca, ManU, Milan, etc, if they want people to get
involved with the beautiful game. They have got to stop focusing on just Beckham and show the better guys
