David's injury

David trained for the first time yesterday with the Galaxy, at the beautiful Home Depot Center. Unfortunately, he's still injured. His ankle is still suffering from a shock in June in Spain. I'm still not sure if he will be able to play against Chelsea this week-end. That would be too bad. Come on David, hang on !

he is going to play ... at least play a bit part ... there is so much invested in this friendly ... with 16 cameras from ESPN ... one dedicated to beckham alone (for ESPN 360) ... broadcasted in HD
... all the hype ... there is no way a swollen ankle can keep him out for 90 minutes. Even if he is no condition to play ... i'd say he'd be in at the 86th minute.

He needs to tough it up. Tape the damn ankle up. Inject it with some Novocain and get out there and play ball!
