After the coup of signing David Beckham, MLS outfit LA Galaxy are reportedly eyeing up a €38 million move for Juventus legend Alessando Del Piero.

Turin newspaper Tuttosport reports this morning that the Los Angeles Galaxy have approached Juventus with a sensational bid to sign Alessandro Del Piero.

The USA team are allegedly hoping to pair the 2006 World Cup winner with David Beckham, who is expected to return from his loan spell at Milan next March.

The bid is believed to be in the region of €38 million but it is highly unlikely that the Juve captain will be prised away from the Stadio Olimpico, at least not before 2010, as the 34-year-old
striker is eager to have his international swan song at the World Cup in South Africa. It is envisaged that a move to America would enormously jeopardize his chances of getting a call-up from
      Italian national coach Marcello Lippi.

Sky Italia claims today that Premier League side Manchester City are also pondering a move for Alex, as well as 'keeper Gianluigi Buffon.
