Mexico disapoints once again, yet hope still prevails.

Thursday, 29 January 09, 07:59 PM

Mexico defeat at the Coliseum was a clear statement about el Tri's true form.

As a Mexican National Team fan I have to say I agree with Mr. Faitelson. The biggest concern should not be Honduras, Costa Rica, USA or any of the other teams Mexico has to face within Concacaf to get to 2010. The true problem is el Tri itself.

El Tri lacks character, gol, and has no flow between lines.

On top of that, you add Mr Erickson to the mix… and the result is obvious. Ojo,  I didn’t say that Mr. Erickson is at fault, but the team still has no idea as to what el Senor Erickson desires.

To be honest, the best part about the game was the tailgate, the electric atmosphere on the stadium during the first half, and the passion about futbol shown by the fans. As far as the game itself, aburridisimo !!

The best had to be the goal. Great play by the Swedish team who capitalized, and made El Tri pay for the pifia of the Mexican defense, which supposed to be one of it’s strengths.

One positive thing to rescue was la entrega of the players on the field and some small passages during the first half.  However, as of today….Mexico is lost!!!! Sure, there is hope, but if el Tri continues to play how they have been doing recently… even with the “europeos” … que Dios los agarre confesados.

As much as I would love to say that el Tri has a chance against the US on Feb 11…no way… not even on my wildest dreams.

BTW, when was the last time you saw el Tri played with passion, character, orden, corazon y huevos? Copa Confederaciones in Germany??
