Tuesday, 11 November 08, 10:28 PM · Comments(1)

Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Media and Communications in conjunction with FIFA TV and Fiji Television is pleased to advise the following television coverage for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup - New Zealand 2008.

Papua New Guinea (EMTV), Solomon Islands Television, VBTC (Vanuatu), Samoa Quality Broadcasting, TONFON Entertainment (Tonga), Broadcasting Corporation of Niue, Cook Islands Television, Tuvalu and French Polynesia broadcaster TNTV are set to retransmit live coverage of the two semi-finals and final of this showpiece event.

Football coverage on television in the Oceania region has increased markedly since 2006 with OFC and FIFA events almost tripling the amount of existing foreign football content on Sky Pacific in the past twenty four months.

FIFA TV has played a crucial role in ensuring matches from the FIFA Futsal World Cup and FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup have been broadcast in Solomon Islands.
