Increase your blog ranking by adding Internal Links

      Hello Footie Fans,

We, here at OleOle, want to help your blog attract more and more readers so here is a great tip.

Creating internal links is a very powerful tool to optimize the search for your blog at Google, Yahoo, and other search engine sites. And it's very easy to do it.

Every time you write a new post on your blog you should, before publishing that post, look for words that can be linked to other OleOle pages. Team pages, Player pages, League or Competition
      Pages...

By doing that you will give Google a hint that your blog post is well linked and it will be ranked higher when internet users search for that word.

And as we said, it's as easy as pie to do it. Let's take this small text about Cristiano Ronaldo for example:

"Cristiano Ronaldo is a footballer from Portugal that plays for Manchester United, a team from the English Premier League and recently won the
UEFA Champions League after his team beat Chelsea FC in the penalty shoot-out. There are now strong rumours of Cristiano Ronaldo's possible transfer to Real Madrid"

All the words in bold can be linked internally. So let's do that.

First write your post on the editing page. Then select the key words you want to link and click on the hyperlink icon on the top right side of the editing bar. (See bellow)

A new small box will pop up and if the word selected will appear already typed and option will show up in a drop down box. (See bellow)

If you can't see the word you selected automatically in our drop down box (supposing you wrote C. Ronaldo instead of his full name) you can start typing the term in a way you think it
would appear normally in the site and you will have the linking options.

After that just click INSERT and that's all. You have created a link that will help bring more traffic to your blog.

This is how your text is going to like once you add all the links:

"Cristiano Ronaldo is a footballer from Portugal that plays for Manchester United, a team from the English Premier League and recently won the
UEFA Champions League after his team beat Chelsea FC in the
penalty shoot-out. There are now strong rumours of Cristiano Ronaldo's possible transfer to Real Madrid".

Do this for EVERY BLOG POST you write so that the search engines can "find" you blog more easily.

And keep telling all of your friends to comment and visit your blog.

      ~Cheers~

      Hola football fans,

OleOle, the biggest and the best social media for football in the world does not stop signing more and more great bloggers. Barcelona fans can now enjoy the best blog about the Catalan club right here at OleOle.

We gladly welcome and give you, Barça fans, FCBnews!!!

Nic Aldam, who moved from England to Barcelona in 1989, is the man who created and signs the posts on this interactive and extremely well written blog. But he also knows that the
greatness of Barça comes from the millions of fans that the club has got all over the world. That's the reason he created the blog and that's one of the reasons he agreed to join OleOle and
expand his words to our thousands of users and visitors who love and live for FC Barcelona.

      So welcome FCBnews!!!

And if Barcelona is more than a club, FCBnews is more than a blog, than OleOle can also say that we are much more than a website.

      Cheers!

OleOle welcomes RealMadridTalk.com to our team of bloggers

In 1920 Madrid FC was already a powerhouse in Spain's football when the club received from the King Himself the honour to carry the title of Real in its name but I'm sure that back then nobody
even thought that 88 years later Real Madrid would be one of the most powerful football clubs in the entire world. And of course, nobody had any idea of how much something called Internet would
help the club gather admirers from the most remote parts of the planet.

OleOle is not only completely aware of the importance of Real Madrid in the world of football but we also know that Los
Merengues have some of the most dedicated fans a club can possibly have.

That's why today we want to present RealMadridTalk.com as the newest signing to our team of the greatest bloggers in the world.

The blog was created by Rajab Bader, a languages student who currently lives in North Africa and started blogging about Real Madrid exactly
with the intention to provide the club's fans an interactive and high quality spot to discuss, in English, everything related to the team.

Here at OleOle he'll find everything he needs to expand and share with other Madridistas this passion. So if you are also a big fan of Los Merengues just stop by to read his latest post.

And remember that here at OleOle you are the one with the power to create, edit, moderate and post the content about your favourite club and player.

      ~Cheers~

Become a FOOTBALL LEGEND with the New OleOle Fan Points System

Can you really prove you are your club's biggest and most dedicated football fan? Can you really voice your opinions when it comes to the beautiful game?

There wasn't a way to really rate the level of your passion or knowledge until now, because OleOle - the world's leading social media site for football - has just launched another cool NEW
      FEATURE: The Fan Points System.

There isn't any mystery in how it works. Every time you contribute on OleOle - commenting on blogs, writing your own blog post, adding pictures or videos, submitting throw-ins, and even filling
out your profile - you'll earn OleOle Fan Points.

The new OleOle Fan Points System is just like a footballer's career: the more points you get the higher your ranking will go. Then when you have got enough points to reach a new level you will
get automatically promoted to a new playing status and your icon will change so everyone will see how good you are.

On the table bellow you can see the levels you can reach and how many points you need to get there:

of reporting what happens minute-by-minute with our new MatchCentre.

But as OleOle is a platform made for the fans and by the fans the new MatchCentre feature won't be a dull, presumptuously neutral match report, no sir.

The fans are not looking for neutrality, they are looking to reality (or at least what your fan's eyes think reality is). So with the new MatchCentre you
will be able to pick sides and post play-by-play comments and stats, add pictures and videos, access pre and post-match commentary and, of course, have "smack talk" debates with your mates in
      the chat box.

From the first match between Switzerland and Czech Republic until the Big Final Match on June 29th OleOle will offer the best and most unique internet
experience in the world of football.

      Football is in your hands

      Enjoy

Celtic Fans!!! The Lord Of The Wing is now LIVE on OleOle

      Hello Football Fans,

Are you a Celtic fan? Are you eager to know everything that is happening in the Scottish Premier League? Do you proudly wear yer Green and White shirt?

So OleOle is proud to bring to you great news! The famous Lord Of The Wing blog has just joined our team.

The blog that started two seasons ago by one of Celtic FC's most avid fan became famous for its humour, consistency and loyalty to the club's colours. The LOTW made sure to warn its readers of
its content with the following text "There may be swearing, there be remarks that the PC among you may find offensive. Apologies for this but you can f*ck off and read the
      BBC..kapeech?
In the vain attempt to be humorous, sarcastic and inject satire we may use quotes that are completely fabricated, rumors that are completely made up and make claims that are false."

Such controversy and passion caught the attention of OleOle and we felt that the LOTW would be a great signing for our team.

The blog can be read here: THE LORD OF THE WING

OleOle welcomes The Lord Of The Wing and wishes that lots of controversy, smacktalk as well as lots of celebrations can be read and discussed on the blog.

Let the Green and White fun begin!

Know what your friends are doing with the NEW Feed Widget

      Hello Footie Fans,

We are very excited and happy with all the activity we've seen from all of you here at the new OleOle platform.

New bloggers, new users, players and team profiles being edited by you and lots of novelties...

One of the newest features we added to OleOle is the Feed Widget. It allows you to keep track of what your friends are doing. And you can easily toggle
between viewing your activities, which are visible to your visitors, and your friends'activities - only you can see that.

But remember, at OleOle your profile really belongs to YOU. You can, at any moment, hide the Widgets or move the tables around to better suit your
      style.

      ...And keep playing

      ~Cheers~

We know that football fans love to proudly display the colors of their favorite team or player, and today we're announcing the acquisition of soccer-art.co.uk. The site features some of the best designed and innovative football wallpapers and desktop backgrounds on the
Internet. And now the creative minds behind the art are playing for the OleOle Team.

Browse for players, clubs and national teams from all over the world then download wallpapers and use them to decorate your computer desktop or your OleOle
homepage or your team or player page.

      But there's more.
