Increase your blog ranking by adding Internal Links

Hello Footie Fans,

We, here at OleOle, want to help your blog attract more and more readers so here is a great tip.

Creating internal links is a very powerful tool to optimize the search for your blog at Google, Yahoo, and other search engine sites. And it's very easy to do it.

Every time you write a new post on your blog you should, before publishing that post, look for words that can be linked to other OleOle pages. Team pages, Player pages, League or Competition Pages...

By doing that you will give Google a hint that your blog post is well linked and it will be ranked higher when internet users search for that word.

And as we said, it's as easy as pie to do it. Let's take this small text about Cristiano Ronaldo for example:

"Cristiano Ronaldo is a footballer from Portugal that plays for Manchester United, a team from the English Premier League and recently won the UEFA Champions League after his team beat Chelsea FC in the penalty shoot-out. There are now strong rumours of Cristiano Ronaldo's possible transfer to Real Madrid"

All the words in bold can be linked internally. So let's do that.

First write your post on the editing page. Then select the key words you want to link and click on the hyperlink icon on the top right side of the editing bar. (See bellow)

A new small box will pop up and if the word selected will appear already typed and option will show up in a drop down box. (See bellow)

If you can't see the word you selected automatically in our drop down box (supposing you wrote C. Ronaldo instead of his full name) you can start typing the term in a way you think it would appear normally in the site and you will have the linking options.

After that just click INSERT and that's all. You have created a link that will help bring more traffic to your blog.

This is how your text is going to like once you add all the links:

Do this for EVERY BLOG POST you write so that the search engines can "find" you blog more easily.

And keep telling all of your friends to comment and visit your blog.

There wasn't a way to really rate the level of your passion or knowledge until now, because OleOle - the world's leading social media site for football - has just launched another cool NEW FEATURE: The Fan Points System.

There isn't any mystery in how it works. Every time you contribute on OleOle - commenting on blogs, writing your own blog post, adding pictures or videos, submitting throw-ins, and even filling out your profile - you'll earn OleOle Fan Points.

The new OleOle Fan Points System is just like a footballer's career: the more points you get the higher your ranking will go. Then when you have got enough points to reach a new level you will get automatically promoted to a new playing status and your icon will change so everyone will see how good you are.

On the table bellow you can see the levels you can reach and how many points you need to get there:

So OleOle is proud to bring to you great news! The famous Lord Of The Wing blog has just joined our team.

The blog that started two seasons ago by one of Celtic FC's most avid fan became famous for its humour, consistency and loyalty to the club's colours. The LOTW made sure to warn its readers of its content with the following text "There may be swearing, there be remarks that the PC among you may find offensive. Apologies for this but you can f*ck off and read the BBC..kapeech?
In the vain attempt to be humorous, sarcastic and inject satire we may use quotes that are completely fabricated, rumors that are completely made up and make claims that are false."

Such controversy and passion caught the attention of OleOle and we felt that the LOTW would be a great signing for our team.
