Daniel Opare happy in Spain
Lets start with the Beast. Julio Baptista is most likely to join As Roma after he has been informed that he is out of Schuster's plans for next season. The Italian club will pay $15m to Real Madrid which means that they are getting him for cheap.
Baptista played some good matches last season, most notably against Barcelona. but he couldn't keep up his form and compete with Guti, Sneijder and Robben. I think this move is the best for all parties. He will have a similar atmosphere in Italy and his family will find it pretty comfortable. That's why he refused to join Tottenham - the English life aint for Brazilians - but I myself like it :)
According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid have sent their last offer to Manchester United for their winger Cristiano Ronaldo. The papers report that Ramon Calderon insists that the club will not pay more than $70m for Ronaldo. However, the player will earn 9 million euros per year and will get 50% of revenue generated from advertising and shirt sales. Now the Euro is over, Ronaldo has no excuse as not to decide on his future. If he is a man, he should come out and say whether he wants us or not. The stuff he is doing with us and with his club is silly.
Another player who is definitely leaving us is Roberto Soldado. The ex-castilla player will reportedly sign a four-year contract with Benfica. He was unfairly treated last season and only played in a few matches. Although, I believe that Soldado has the potential to be a great player, I think this is the best thing for him. He won't find his way to the starting eleven with players like Rau'l, Higuain and Van Nistelrooy around. It is a pity, but that's football for you.
Do you remember Opare? I have written about him a few times before and he seems to be happy in Madrid. The Ghanaian defender is currently training with the Castilla team and is quickly adapting to the life in Spain. He plays as a right-back as well as a center-back. He has the potential to be a quality defender, but for the next few years he will really find it hard to play with the first team with the presence of Sergio Ramos, Pepe and Cannavaro. We will see how he improves....

Hala Madrid!
The ballpark figures that are being thrown around by media and fans alike in regards to the transfer fee for Ronaldo seem very confused. We simply won't know until it properly happens, speculation of sums appear distorted by simply reporting the figure in question but not the right currency and thus you get ball park sum all over the place, all very confused.
I wish Baptista the best at Roma or where ever he goes, his goal at the Camp Nou will be remembered for decades to come. May he get playing time and be appreciated at last.
Losing Soldado would be a great shame, I thought he proved himself a very competent rotation backup for our starter strikers with his displays for Osasuna, for him too i hope he finds a starting place and appreciation at his new club.
Opare looks a very exciting prospect and who knows, mayhaps if we suffer defensive injuries like last term we may get to see him get a few starts next season. Watched him play in the FIFA u-17 world cup, reminded me at the time of how Cafu used to be when he played for Roma...i've read since many seem in agreement. I think we have another young foreign gem in our youth ranks in him, i just hope though we keep our youth teams predominantly spanish.
Not quite had time to fully look into this new OleOle move but from what i've seen thus far, you've doine a grande job rajab ~nods~

Hi Yousuf, welcome to RealmadridTalk and OleOle.
Yes, I think my first name is of Arabic origin. Isn't a name of a particular month? As for Bader, it is of an American origin, and it is found in the US (according to Wikipedia) and number of Arab countries including KSA, Libya, Lebanon and Jordan I think.
Once again, welcome to RealmadridTalk and be sure to show up often
What? Just 70 mil? Price fell after seeing him in EURO? hahahahahahhah. Still its a bit too much.
realmadrid management must not allow ROBINHO to leave for any reason becos he is a world class player and has alot to offer madrid fans for many years to come.he should be given an oppoetunity to prove himself,Realmadrid fans from [african especially nigerian are proud of him.

About the OleOle, i havent received any email and i cant Log In cause i cant remember my password, so i'll need some help from you Rajab.
I think selling Baptista, Soldado is the right thing to do, i am very happy that As Roma has launched a bid for the beast, he would do well in Rome. same for Soldado Benefica is a good place for him and he would have Balboa for company there, also i hear that Codina is moving to Benefica.
Now that c.ronaldo has an injury i dont see why we should buy him. until his injury is cleared up. Opare is a great addition to Real, a very good crosser of the ball, he can battle with Ramos for the right wing shirt, and in times of injury when Ramos maybe drafted to the middle we wont have to worry, cause we have Opare who is fast and a real threat on the wings.
