Fabio Cannavaro has concerns about Gay Marriage ;)
I haven't posted in a couple of days mainly due to the fact that the press is still talking about how on earth we are going to register both of Lass and Klaas for the Champions League.
Latest news is that Real will take the issue to CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) and it goes like this:
We will first approach UEFA’s Commission of Control and if they throw out the case, we will then take it to the governing body’s Committee of Appeal. If that also fails, then we will take it to the CAS.
However, there is the time constraints and as we might not be able to meet the January 31 registration deadline if we go through all this stuff. Therefore, the UEFA would need until the 20th to make a decision before we approach the CAS.
In more interesting news, Fabio Cannavaro has criticized countries like Spain and Italy (although they don't allow LEGAL gay marriage) for their stance on the issue, ehm.. of Gay Marriage
"Spain is a great country, Zapatero has invested in the renovation of large cities, however, the gay marriage thing in this ..., uhm... maybe I'm more Italian?," said Cannavaro.
Obviously, it isn't about being more Italian as many gay groups in Italy have expressed their disappointment with the Italian skipper:
"We feel bad that all these gay men have always admired the beauty of Neapolitan Cannavaro," said Aurelio Marcus, president of the main Italian gay association (Arcigay)."
Genaro Gattuso also shares the same views with Cannavaro which is another disappointment for the gay folks in Italy:
"After Gattuso, it is Cannavaro now. It is difficult to say that we are proud of a country like Italy, which does not recognize our rights," said Franco Grillini, president of the association Gaynet
Anyway, back to football, Carlos Tevez has obviously decided to leave Manchester United and Real Madrid is seemingly his favorite destination, but I think that having signed Huntelaar, it is illogical that we sign another striker and in this case Tevez.
I personally think that Tevez is not a player who should be at Real Madrid. I would prefer Benzema or Villa over him, but as I said many times, we are in a desperate need for a winger at the moment, not a defender, a midfielder or a striker ...... a WINGER.
The same names are still being linked to us at the moment. Valencia, Ribery, Di Maria....etc and neither one is close to us.
I think we must sign one of those before the window closes as we can't count on Robben and Drenthe during the rest of the season. My choice is as always Franck Ribery, it is not impossible, but difficult ... just give it a shot, Pedja!
Brazilian legend, Pele, has said that Real tried to sign him in his playing days along with Manchester United and Juventus, but he preferred to stay loyal to his club and stay in Brazil
"Real Madrid wanted me, along with Manchester United, and Juventus," he told Eurocalcio.
"In fact, the Juventus president almost reached a deal with Santos which included support from Fiat. I thought about coming to Europe a lot, but I preferred to stay with the team in my heart, Santos."
I would have liked the fact that Pele had played for us.... I wonder how many titles we could have won... Whatever....
Alright folks, that's it for now. I'm off to school!
Hala Madrid!

Yes,Frank Ribery is the best choice for Real Madrid.

absolutely, no doubt about that, It's difficult, but not impossible, as long as Pedja is willing to spend money!! Madridistas had been dissappointed for a long time. None of the main targets that we chased had ultimately been signed. This is a chance for Pedja to prove he is not totally uselss.
I think that either Di Maria or Ribery will be good for us but i Hope we wont be late and about tevez it looks that Real will not try to sign him untill next summer so cheer up guys we'll get our winger nshalla I hope so
Reply to joe007:
hope so, either Di Maria or Ribery is gd. in my opinion, so is david silva. Hala Madrid!!
Reply to Anti-Mijatovic:
Agreed. Thought at the moment Silva and Valencia are the best options considering the fact that both will be a able to contest in the CL which might just be our main goal. Ribery and Di Maria are wonderful but should be looked at for the summer especially Ribery. We should strengthen the defense in the summer too, possibly a left-back to replace the lousy Heinze. Then there's the addition of Garay. Our defense would surely improve. Hopefully Mijatovic doesn't spend his time on stupid Ronaldo this time. Hala Madrid!
Tevez is the big striker, in Manchester he lost "crazy" football style but I'm convinced that in Madrid he'll build-up great form. Personally I'll be gladly if he change Man Utd to Real Madrid couse in my opinion Klaas dont fill the bill and soon leave Santiago Bernabeu.
PS: I want catch your eyes at incredible, amazing Argentinians attack. Messi, Tevez and Lavezzi (my front runner) are guaranties a lot of goals and outstanding performance.
PS2: My english isn't very well so i'm sorry if i did any error. Peace

I think Huntelaar's a perfect replacement for RVN. We need a target-amn to fill his boots and there are few in the world with finishing like The Hunter. Though, it is true we lack an out-and-out striker. Hopefully we can sign Benzema or Villa to fill that position but Tevez for me might be helpful but he won't fit into our style of play much. Tevez is more of a supporting striker but we already have Higuain to fill that position so I don't feel Tevez should be our biggest target. Hala Madrid!
I am afraid they won,t change the rules in the middle of season! As much as we could be right,or those rules are not fair enough! Why?Because every good rule must predict exceptions...There are no exceptions here! Our players were injured in the sport battle not in pubs!
But anyway,if UEFA takes this thing seriously and will make some changes this summer,it is not a wasted time!HalaMadrid
could you imagine huntelaar and tevez up front for real? I can!
why do you keep on naming strikers?Do you know that if tevez will be signed Higuain will have to be benched?(Not to mention we can say goodbye to Bueno,Raul,Saviola and possibly RVN)....as I said before...until the summer we ONLY need one or two wingers
Reply to Daniel:
That's what I said
Except, I still feel we don't have an out-and-out striker but we can easily do without one. The wings of midfield and defense should be our priority. We need a left-back and a right winger for sure. Hala Madrid!
Reply to TheAngelOfMadrid:
isn't Huntelaar an out and out striker?
also...I'd rather buy two wingers then a left back...I don't think a left back is needed
Reply to TheAngelOfMadrid:
PS:No it's not what you said..."Hopefully we can sign Benzema or Villa" and I said NO striker should be signed...not even those
Reply to Daniel:
a left back signing is needed. Heinze is too slow and made a lot of turnovers this season. Marcelo is even worse. even though he is young, so what?? Real Madrid is not a team for youngster to learn "gradually" in the field and get experience. the point is we can't afford to gamble with one young defender who has a high turnover rate to be a starter in some critical match-up. He shouldn't be loaned out but he doesn't deserve to be a starter. and miguel torres still lacks of offensvie technique, his cross is alrite but his basic controlling skill still needs to be improved. He suits to be the sub of Sergio Ramos. Clinchy and Philip Lahm are the best choice. " the later one could be expensive though" young players deserve their choice, but not as starters. if we can have better options, why not?
WE NEED A RIGHT WINGER (PERIOD)
Reply to Anti-Mijatovic:
Clichy would be a liability for me. Despite being an immense talent, he's not all that good. Lahm though would be a great option but Chiellini is who we should really sign.(Sorry, i'm too obssessed with the lad)
Heinze is utterly useless and Marcelo needs time. Thus, we need a developed, reliable left-back
Reply to Daniel:
Huntelaar is a target man, NOT an out-and-out striker. The likes of Torres, Villa, Benzema and Ibra are out-and-out strikers. They go from one end of the pitch to another and run a lot. Whereas players like Huntelaar and RVN stay in the box and the players around them pass to them to apply the finishing touches. Though, we can do without one as Higuain can cover that position. A left-back is very much needed, Heinze and Marcelo are too unreliable, especially Heinze. He's useless. Two wingers would be good provided both have enough class to compete with Robben. Hala Madrid!
Reply to redsNblues:
Everybody knows that my friend. Nobody's arguing against it, we're thinking about which other positions can be strengthened. A righ-winger should be our priority, no doubt
OMG i just saw one of the best movies ever made Real the movie WOW i think every Real fan should see this it truly describes how the whole world loves Real no other team could have made a movie like this
Reply to TheAngelOfMadrid:
truely!! Heinze is very useful for our opponent's stand point since he provides a lot of chances for their strikers to score against us
esp when he plays full-back, he is just a bomb in the back. So just get rid of him. in addition, whether or not to sign a out-and-out striker have to depend on how Higuain and Raul perform partnering up with Hunt. maybe we can get one more if we get rid of saviola. My suggestion for Summer: Ribery(we're gonna have 3 wingers if we can sign a gd one at winter), Lahm and Diego, etc. sinec lahm is capable to play at both sides. the adjustment in hte back can be more capable. if 2 of our 3 central back is injuried, Sergio can play in the middle while Lahm took his place in the right.(then little younsta marcelo can have chances to "gain" experinece)
