Criss Ronaldo Too Greedy ?

Wednesday, 17 June 09, 03:01 PM · Comments (114)

Real Madrid made headlines when the deal to land Man Utd flamboyant winger Cristiano Ronaldo was announced almost two weeks ago. Some said 80M€ was a bargain deal for a player of CR7 caliber and some said that 80 mill is far too much to spend on a spoiled brat ( their word not mine).More over people dwells upon whether CR7 came searching to satisfy his l.o.v.e for the value of the madridismo and the sole of the best club in the world or he's searching to deepen his already very very deep pockets and well some also said that he got tired of the ladies in the UK its Madrid's ladies turn. A man can ponder but, it looks like Ronaldo is a greedy dude like so many people think.

According to the Daily Mail  Cristiano Ronaldo and his reps are still negotiating with Real Madrid and the point of conflict is that Ronaldo doesn't want Real Madrid to get half of his commercial deals, although he would get payments from the sales or Real Madrid merchandise with his name on them. Now for a man who is expected to earn 10m a year - about 200,000 a week its very fucking greedy and awful. Perez none the less is expected to up his offer so that Criss will be presented with Kaka at the end of the month, thus giving Mr.former president Calderon a reason to kill himself.

I am sure a deal will be worked out because he wants to play for Real Madrid and Perez wants him and we have a deadline until June 30 to resolve this I hope it all works out.. So is it true that the Villa deadline is tommorow?

If the deal about Ronaldo paying us 30m is actualy true....could it be that Perez will keep on negotiating with Ronaldo till June 30th to escape the deal and make him pay us 30m? I know it is very arfetched and highly unlikely but I thought about it a thought I might say it.

AS reports that Robben has been told that he would have to accept one of the offers made for him during the summer. If he does not accept, he will not be registered as a player for any of the competitions. And Milan would be given preferential treatment if they bid for him. So Robben may end up at AC Milan, which is not so bad for him after all. =D

Hurry up and get this deal done! I cant wait to see the Kaka and Ronaldo presented. The money real madrid will make off Kaka and Ronaldo is amazing.

I will bet anything that Real Madrid will get ripped off when selling the dutchies. Robben is alone worth €30-40M. Sneijder €20-30M. Its still June, long time to go. But we have to sell for the right money.

As for Ronaldo paying madrid that money it is false. It is the other way around isn't? Real Madrid would had to pay Manchester United that money.

Real madrid offering nine players for sell, specifically not for prem. Newspapers made it like this.

Even man u n madrid had an agreement b4, i doubt neither of them will reveal dis. then Man u fan won't take it right way as well as world wide media n fans . Its like kaka was telling " i want to play for milan only' ...even 7 days b4 signin....but dis deal was almost done months b4.

winger is not the priority anymore under Pellegrini. We need some more younger attacker players who are able to play in the flank. Ribery, Silva, Cazorla, or even Grenero will be suitable.

Villa had revealed that his "will" is still the same after the Iraq game. Even though he didnt specify where he wants to go, logically, it seems to support the statement he made previously. "Real Madrid or stay". i personally think Villa himself can force the issue if he can give some pressure to valencia. In fact, We had already come up with an agreement with Velencia on may regarding to Villa's transfering. However, it's because CHelsea and barca's involvement that increases his market value. The deal ended up...!!

the financial crisis forces Velancia to sell players. Selling their most expensive Villa seems to be inevitable and if Valencia determines his "Real Madrid or Nothing" theory. it's not impossible to see this best striker in Europe with the RM jersey next season.

Yes .. we already know cr7 is greedy, the article being a cliche. What strikes the most is the comments the players make that joining this or that club is their ultimate dream and then we see in this extreme case that his signing is delayed because of such a marginal term considering that Real Madrid is his dream team and he wants the dream to be accomplished. I agree that we will have the best attack in the world with Kaka, Ronaldo and Villa on board.
But we also need a stronger defense to stop our opponents from scoring goals.
With a strong defense, we can win the Champions League for years and years.
That's why I think we should add another centre back and a left back like Albiol and Lahm/Cole to shore up our defense before we look to sign Ribery.

regarding to some critisim against kaka, i would suggest those critics to look at things in a more precious matter.

It is the "change" of position to force kaka to dribble less. Dunga is using kaka as the playmaker in his 4-3-3 formation with which there are two second striker coming down the flanks to attack. In such an offensive formation, the most important thing that the playmaker should take as priority is how to launch attack, to distribute the ball and to keep a good ball movement. If kaka plays like what he used to in AC Milan, he deserves to be blamed. dribbling and penatrating around the edge of the box are Robinho and Elano's tanks, definitely not kaka. However, it's still so important for the playmaker in 4-4-3 to have dribbling skills, especially when all 3 strikers are being tightly marked(especially when the oppenent's DM drops back). A guy like kaka will be benefit. that's something VDV and Sneijder are much less likely to provide.

some people just looked at how great the kaka is in 06/07 season that he scored twice against Man Utd but they don't even acknowledge that that role of kaka is different with the one he is playing for brazil now. He is doing the perfect playmaking job with a very low turnover rate. And this is actually his most preferable position with which he can have more space to cut through with his explosive speed.

Another thing that didn't really make the headlines yesterday: Valdano confirms that NO youth player will be moved up to the first team. That means that neither Bueno, nor Palanca will play in the first team. Granero will NOT be brought back. We won't see Opare, Szalai or Alippio either. for the last few years. Kaka is being used by Ancelotti as the second striker. He is the key to create all the attack and he must have to dribble to create open space either for himself or Inzaghi. he didn't even participate on playmaking duty. Pirlo had been the main architect with Seeforf being his assisstant for the playmaking job. And ambrosini and gattuso's co-existence tremendously reduce kaka's pressure. So his job(almost his only duty) is to launch attack. That's why he gotta dribble and made more penatration.

But in Brazil, the team will be playing in a mess if kaka drives up all the time regardless to the ball movement and stuffs.

Face it man! Only Palanca looked like playing for the first team, all the others such as Torres, Javi Garcia,Parejo looked well below the level of a Real Madrid player. You can't blame Valdano, but I'm against a total blank-out of the youth players.

it's better for us to REBUILD the team first, and then PLUG the youth players IN once we have a mature system. It will be better for both the youth and for the team. We can't bring them to the first team when we HAVE NOT YET developed a consistent playing style.

Sure. But if I were Alberto Bueno, seeing how Juan Mata (ex-sidekick a few years ago) isnow playing for la SELECCION I would be thinking about leaving the club, in all honesty.

This really was the year for Bueno, Palanca, Parejo and Granero. They should have been given a place in the squad.

How can we complain about Mata leaving the club? He would still be playing for Castilla C team.

yeah, truely!! that's why i don't blame on them for leaving. Even for Eto, who hadn't even given any legitimate chance with his spectaular performances in Mallorca. Especially mata, they didn't even pay attention to him when he was shinning in Castilla but brought in someone like.....drenthe. that's ridiculous. for me, they can all be promoted to team A. But their playing time would be so limited while we really can sign some "good" players instead of those "average players"

it's so depending on situation. we have to see if there are any new world class new comers. it looks like nth special will take place b4 the confederation cup. just like wut perez said, this season is not over yet. It's only june. And we are the only club that can have two big signings in this month. Time goes on, everything will be straightened out. In my opinion, those 3 should not be sold unless we could have Villa, Ribery(or maybe silva), and Xabi Alonso.

Comment about Ronalddo and greed.
Don't let yourselves be naive about how football deals are done. Do you think that Ronaldo himself comes anywhere near the negiotiation table? He's on a beach somewhere and probably only has a very high level view of what is going on with the negiotiation.
The point is that he employs people to negiotiate on his behalf and they are just doing their job to get the best possible deal for him they can.

Of course he should realise how this can be percieved by the fans, but I suspect that most Spanish fans don't really care how much he gets paid.

if we keep dem den whom will we sell ?? others won't be dat valuable like dem...as far as i know perez wants 100 M euros by sellin dis dutch contingent....so it will help him to recoup financial situation.....others can't give us dat much money.......

higuain,casillas,ramos,pepe no way...

ya i know...we spend so much we need to cover back the money we spend....so we sell our star for higher price...but i hope hantulaar stay!!! he just 6 month on the squad if he go..i want perez buy Napoli star Ezequiel Iván Lavezzi...wht do you guys think???

Iván Lavezzi is great, so is Zarate from Lazio!!

They're great but I have my doubts about how much do they actually score...if I had to choose between them I'd prefer Zarate ;) However I don't think either of them will become as good as RVN,Huntelaar,Higuain,Negredo etc... I'd rather have Negredo over both of them for example.

However some young stars which I think would be good are these...Alexis Sanchez(Udinese),Nilmar(Brazil),Assaiti(Holland),Buonanotte(Argentina),Diego Capel(Spain)

Ronaldo is greedy and vain. If he can't accept a 50:50 split on the image rights, he should get lost. It's not economically viable to get less than half the share of his endorsements, if Real are going to be paying him like £200k a week.

Well he's a young brazilian who already plays in the national team....for me that's the garantee that he's going to become a brilliant player....yesterday if I'm correct he was chosen BEFORE Pato so that says something ;)

On Robben i honestly think Jorge Valdano is becoming too harsh on the player to annonce that if you do not go we will not register you is really bad.yes he is prone to injuries but what and they may be paying him a lot of money but but who is the ideal replacement for robben it looks noone just like the robinho case then if so bring back robinho then.Valdano if not careful can be a big question mark on his capability tobuild a very strong madrid side these guys together with Perez if for sure they think ronaldo and kaka can win laliga and UCL alone they must just as well leave madrid now.Everyone is dying for a conquering strong and brilliant madrid like barcelona of last year who went on to prove they are really the best team. Now is the tie to remenber to build a strong team with a very good bench like chelsea this is the reason why even the assistant coach of Chelsea Ray Wilkins said chelsea are stronger than madrid.
Why does madrid try to keep players like Garcia, guti, torres,is because they are spanish yet there are better spanish players to buy from within spain to fill in for those players.
Raul yes can be benched and he looks to be accepting that and the reason they want again because he is a good leader in and out of the team controls morale in the dressing room which is fare play to him, so yes they can keep him for those reasons.
As of now iam beginning to be sceptical about the effectiveness of Valdano.Zidane and pellegrin are very good but to me it seems they have very little influence. So all of you suppoters out there what do you think about this madrid.Iam not sure we will be able to challenge Barcelona if we continue this way.

Alonso fits Madrid better

U can't judge lavezzi by score rate cuz he tends to assisst others with his runs(similar to messi but not as good as messi). Zarate is a striker. i don't wanna bring this up mate!! but wut u said that they will not become as good as Huntelaar, Hiugain, and Negredo really does not make sense. it's too biased to say that Zarate and Lavenzzi CAN'T BE as good as Higuain(who is still a rising young player too), Huntelaar and Negrdo(who doesn't acheive or prove anything in big stages.)

1. u can't simply compare subjectively cuz they ain't even playing in the same league.
2. Higuain is great but he is also one of the rising star like Zarate. If u look at the way they dribble and shoot. They are extremely similar and i can't tell who is better between them.
3. Negredo hasn't proven anything in the big stage too. Zarate and Lavanzzi had already had performed for national team. But Negredo is not yet in that level. i am talking about NOW.
4. Huntelaar is a box striker. His playing style is completely different compared with those two Argentines. So is Negredo, he is a strong box striker, Zarate and Lavenzzi is second striker.
