Three defending mistakes = three goals. An effective and great performance from Getafe, a crappy pathetic one from Real Madrid - this is what tonight was all about and yet Bernd Schuster will pretend nothing has happened when he gives his post-match comments.
Just two minutes after the kick-off, Juan Albin scored for Getafe as he headed a fantastic cross that neither Torres nor Ramos was able to block. I think both of them take responsibility on this one especially Ramos who played a crappy match tonight and could have been sent off on many occasions hadn't the referee been a little bit easy with him.
With Gago, Guti, Sneijder, and Drenthe in midfield, you'd hope that they could create chances and assist the strikers, but yet again they failed to do that. If there was someone who tried hard then it was Sneijder who unfortunately had to be replaced with VDV as he got injured. I hope it is not serious and that he'll be fit for our next match otherwise we are truely f#$$ked up.
Miguel Torres got injured as well and Salgado came in for him. Torres' injury isn't that serious and so he should be fine.
Drenthe made a little improvement, but it is not enough. He tried to break into Getafe's defense numerous times and had little success most notably when he crossed a good ball to Rau'l who failed to score as the keeper cleared the ball away. It was face-to-face yet the captain was nervous and just reacted too quickly.
So again, two minutes after the start of the second half, Albin scored to make things worse for us. Gago was the one responsible for that goal, because he failed to control and clear the ball. I'm sure most of you know that I've never been a big fan of Gago and I think I have a point when I say he isn't a Real Madrid player (in the sense that he can play for a club like Real) neither are many others, I think he had just the right hype that any player would need to get Real's attention. He has played 51 games and hasn't scored. I know he isn't supposed to do so, but isn't he supposed to recover balls and most importantly assist his temmates? Does he do that? Well, at least not most of the time. I don't give a heck If he has the talent, I don't give a heck if he is South American and therefore a fantastic player as many people assume, what I want is a player who works his ass-off, who has the guts to step on the pitch and fight like a Gladiator. In other words, someone like Diarra, Gattuso, Essien...etc not the male model Gago.
As for the other Argentine, Saviola, well, he didn't have to do anything, because the midfield wasn't able to assist him. He had a few shots on goal and scored our only goal. It was a nice goal, though.
I think, as many readers of the blog said, he needs more playing time. He has started in the last two matches (Borisov and this one) and scored on goal. However, If Higuain returns, I'm pretty sure that Schuster will ask him to warm the bench again. While I think that would sound logical, considering that Higuain has scored 9 goals so far, I think Schuster rather needs to take care of the defense and midfield, because we score but we concede more. That's our weakest point - the defense and the midfield's inability to hold ball possession and set up the strikers. It is rare that a goal comes from a fantastic play starting from the midfield in this Schuster's era.
Bueno came in for Marcelo and nobody expected him to do anything. I mean, both of Saviola and Rau'l had been playing for like 60 or 70 minutes and couldn't score more than one goal. You get the point.
Ikechukwu Uche scored the winner from a counter-attack. Casillas was very frustrated and I really don't blame him for the 21 or 22? goals he has conceded so far. Sometimes it is unfair that a crappy goalie gets the Zamora trophy when he he was only lucky and had a superb defense. So Iker, it is highly unlikely that you'll win the Zamora trophy this season.
Anyway, another disappointing result. We have very difficult games in the next few weeks so lets keep our fingers-crossed. Barca are playing Sevilla right now and they'll hopefully lose some points.

first off casillas looked like a puppet in goal.....right now only luck can save us. There is no one to lead that team so the best they can do is try to scrape as much wins as possible to be able to make it to the CL next year and build a proper squad with skilled YOUNG players and not get folks who have a 'name'. There is no way we're going to beat up the big 4 we have coming up. FIRE THE TRAINERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! our players are going down like flies!
I will tell u all our problem is injuries because we when we have a full squad we are a great team but we never mange this barcelona have not been injured all year thats why they r ok only 6 points ahead we can catch up keep your heads up madridistas but here are the injuries we have.. Ruud, De la red, cannavaro, pepe, sneijder, torres, heinze, diarra, robben,higuain. we need to recover atleast 5 by the time we face barcelona
well, hate to be the bearer of bad news(not really) but barca thumped sevilla 3-0, are you guys looking forward to the 14th as much as i am? 
It was a bad game to watch. Getafe had at least 7 chances to score and we have only 3. They had posesion of the ball.I`d like to now why we have Guti in the squad and Granero on loan.It should be Guti on loan and Granero in tha squad. Today I watched my lil homies playing football against another hood, and they were playing better then Real.
Bad times. . .bad times, we got another lost, barca win again with the return of messi, oh, i really don't want to be pessimistic, but sometimes being realistic is just not good. Well, perhaps, this year is truly not ours. The only thing we can blame is just injuries, not schuster, not players, but perhaps calderon and pedja, if these two men don't do anything in january, but still, injury made us really weak, the same thing that happened to barca last year. They could only improve their performance in the some last few games after some of their players recovered, especially eto'o, but still, they only get third place. Well, i really hope we can do better this year, Hala Madrid!!
what we need are creative players who can dribble! aimar AND diego.. or aimar AND ashravin.. i ve never been a big ashravin fan, but i watched him play and he rely is a treat to watch.. why is barca doin soo well? one word.. MESSI.. so i have one word for madrid also, AIMAR
RVN, De la Red and Sneijder are the only ones left who need to make a real recovery. This is sure to give us a HUGE fitness boost and I think with this massive fitness boost, if all the recovered players make the game and we still don't win then Schuster has some explaining to do. Lets forget about yesterday and look towards the future, a slip up for Barca next week, and a win for us would put us right back up there! Who knows!? We might even emerge in the Clasico. All we need to do is stand by the team. Hala Madrid! 
injuries are not your problem. your problem is that your team sucks last year it was refs and robinho that stoped you from getting relegated. i was tired of seeing you play like shit and the robinho dribbles down the wing in the 87th minute passes it to ruud and all of a sudden you all go yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy GREAT GAME!!!!! well fyou robinho's gone but at least you still got the refs enjoy uefa cup.

All I can say is that this season is not ours .. we have to kinda focus on fixing the problem this season to build for the next . I hope by next year we have a capable team
What a load of crap!! We are a second rate club right now and are going backwards!! We have just one world class player 'casillas'. It is ridiculous.. we are so far behind barca in terms of quality..id hate to think what manchester or chelsea wud do to us if we met them in the champions league!!
