It Is Official: Huntelaar Is A Real Madrid Player

Tuesday, 02 December 08, 01:29 PM · Comments (36)

Huntelaar

I reported yesterday that Real Madrid had signed Netherlands striker Huntelaar from Ajax for an unknown fee. There were other reports that suggested that no deal had actually been done, but now everything is official as the club has announced it on its website.

English (my crappy translation)

Real Madrid and AFC Ajax Amsterdam have reached an agreement over striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

The player will go under some medical tests and then sign a contract which will keep him at the club until 30, June 2013.

Way to go!

Hala Madrid!

They didn't reveal more details. However, it depends on when he will arrive in Madrid.

=D =D according to calciomercato.com the transfer fee is 20million euros (which I consider a bargain). Now all that is left in January is....sell Heinze to Liverpool, bring back Garay and sign Di Maria. Then at the end of the season we'll get Ribery. If all this happens....the 10th champions league will be in the bag ;)

Oh, how i glad to hear this. I mean, i'd never expected huntelaar, since lots of clubs want this man, and also he's so important in ajax, but this is a good sign from the director, that now they know how to make a good transfer. Silent, not so many commotion, not so many speculation, not so many comment, but suddenly we get a good player, this is what calderon or pedja should do if they want to buy cr7, but, they should forget him, though, i think we should not buy another ballon d'or player, but raise another one, hopefully, Hala Madrid!

I think we may have overpaid especially since he is injured. We should have gotten 5 mil off the price and depending on apperances and performance we can pay Ajax the rest. Overall good signing Huntelaar and Sneijder played several years together so they have a natural partnership. I due hope Benitez wants Heinze so we can sell him or maybe as a part deal for Ryan Babel. Then we will lave a right winger and another dutchman.

Since Calderon said there will be 2 huge signings in June what are some names that might come?
maybe benzema,teves,cristiano?

WOW!!! I am surprised that Calderon has realized what is happening and that real needs improvement to compete with other teams,, this is such a surprise to me,, I think Calderon is feeling the pressure and that running a club like Real Madrid is not that easy,, I know Real Madrid will see major changes,, but what will hapen to the likes of Raul and Guti, will Raul be comfortable on the bench? Anyway the injuries that happend to Real Madrid has made the squad deeper and i do believe that when all these signings happen if another injury crisis happens,, i am convinced that the team will not be under such crisis again,, and i hope that no player will think the team only depends on them,, like the past 'Ronaldhino',, but Real will have a complete unit who will work as one... Let us all stand by Real Madrid... The president has become aware of the situation so we will see improvement in the team.. One thing i would love to know did Schuster have a major part in getting Huntelaar to come to Real???

Zarate?
Calderon says that he don't want to know about the signings because he can't shout up.
If you read on the link, the last part, how come that Calderon knows that Zarate's brother was in the Castilla for some years ago?

LINK

Zarate must have been up for discussion.

It is said that Benitez has revived his interest in Heinze (which makes sense since Aurelio is injured and Dossena is one big flop). Now I hope that a winger will arrive in the winter market and not another striker because if so,we can get ready to watch higuain play as a right winer all over again :?

we have to go for Di Maria and Zarate, bouth can play on the wings, and Zarate can play in the midle... since Robben is always inyured he can cover left wing, and he can play in the CL. I thin that Mijatovic should go for this two players

Yeah, Zarate, yeah Di Maria, I think Madrid will sign Silva this winter for sure. Valencia is almost bankrupt and he earns a measly 800000 euros a year there (small for soccer players!) I am sure Madrid can better that and, he has played just 3 games for Valencia this year. So, that means, he will be able to play in the League and the champions league. Somehow, I feel that their prez will have to let go for the situation they are in, I don't think they'll let Villa go, but I think Silva would leave this winter. I know he is a left footer, but the guy is absolute class and, I think he is more rigid and injury free than Robben. Hence, he is always a good buy. We have quiet a bit of cash on us right now, and if we get Silva, then I don't see any reason to buy anyone else. Madrid have their winger and their striker they wanted.
What I am more surprised is that Calderon is actually taking the steps required to build back the team. He knew we were in deep shit, and I am sure the smiles are back on Madridistas faces again. This, coupled with a decent performance this weekend, will, at least, for the time being, reduce the crisis. The team morale will have gone up considerably and I am sure, when Calderon announces the next signing, it will get back to normal again.
Di Maria is good, but by the looks of it, he is struggling on the bench at benfica! How is he supposed to be a star here at the biggest club in the world if he is struggling at a smaller one? Any ways, lets hope for the best and hope that we land Silva.

I'm glad this went through as Higuain and him would be a lethal partnership. Raul is finally drifting away as he should. Not to take any points of him, i'm a die-hard Raul supporter but i've realised his time has come and it's time for this man, Huntleaar to take over. And yes, I agree with you that Silva is a much more developed winger but the chances of him coming are low because then Valencia would also have to sell Villa. I feel that Di Mariais very taelnted and he doesn't struggle on the bench, he's played 20 games this season and he came to Benfica in the last winter-window. He's very skilled and he's much better at doing something with the ball than Drenthe though Drenthe is a cheetah...with no teeth :P Hopefully, Calderon doesn't make the mistake of ignoring the defense, that's the weaker part! :( Hala Madrid! =D

Doctors have revealed that De La Red is fine and can return to football starting from next week.

Diarra is likely to go under the knife.

Man City offers Real 150m for Casillas with a 13m salary.

Huntelaar will look with the #19 jersey thats open or myabe #9 if Saviola gives it to him they both would look great on him.. but i read reports that diarra has to have surgey and will be out for the rest of year hopefully this is not true because we have missed him.. and marcelo is on 4 yellows so if he picks up a yellow vs sevilla he will mis el clasico and this will be really bad because torres and heinze r both injured and there would be noone else to play maybe drenthe
