Nah, if they do that already then they'll be criticized heavily as Schuster really deserves a little more confidence. He helped us achive immense glory in the league last year and even if we're out of the Kings Cup, it doesn't matter. Yes, we're losing but every team has their bad streaks. Look at the likes of Milan or Juve, even Arsenal. He needs to be allowed to do his job without all these retarded newspapers heaping so much pressure on him. As for the conference, it's probably nothing more than a confirmation of how they'll stand by Schuster and sign players in the Winter....all of us are over-reacting, we need to be patient and if the results don't start pouring in another month then it'll be fair to sack him, right now though, it makes no sense. I understand all that you have said but you have to look at th fact that in the last game, there was no other option for cnetre back, he played Marcelo on the left and Heinze in the center and I would have done the same because of the injury problems. Though I agree with you 100% about Raul not being substituted eariler, he had a terrible game. I know how you feel for the King's Cup and so do I but over the years it's developed into a Cup for those who don't get chances normally. It's not me speaking, I would love for us to win it but sadly, most of the world doesn't care. And Schuster does watch Castilla but he can't just give them chances in such important games. I have always said that sacking Schuster at this point in the season is not the most appropriate solution and Pedja today has made it clear that Schuster is staying.

However, I agree that he has made a lot of mistakes so far. What irritates me is that he keeps making them. I know that we have many key players injured, but sometimes as Dridian pointed out, it was just matter of preference and reliance on certain players.

The bottom line is that Schuster should re-think about his strategy and try to listen to his players in order to communicate and be a united and efficient team.

If we would have sacked Shuster we would still be in turmoil. Granted we lack proper direction we are still a few points off the lead. What we need is to rally and figure out what works and what doesn't. Right now or focus should be on repairing our pitifull defense. We should think about recalling Garay from Racing. Heize should be benched and Ramos has to suck it up and play in the middle next to Cannavaro. Schuster is staying so that is one thing to check off the list now we focus on repairing the squad. Schuster needs to focus on winning now and let Pedja think about who to bring in the Winter. I won't throw out any suggestions but we need a true number "9" and a few defenders.

i agree with you and aspecialy about negotiation for Ribery.This is a player that can change the game on his own and whith another world class striker (like Benzema)they would make the Real game much better... Real could then be unbeatable team...!! Atleast thats my opinion...

why do you doubt Benzema's quality?? Essien was also coming from France when Chelsea payed big money for him and he showed right away that he is a great player. Ribery also came from France and he plays gret in Bayern... If the player has the quality then i think he will adopt quiqly to Spain's leage...

why is no one talking about jesus navas from seville he is a good young player who is a RM, young, and has played with sergio ramos so they should work well together. To me Messi is far better in skill than C. Ronaldo. I like Messi way better. I think it was a waste of time to chase after him this summer and it is that reason why we are in the mess that we are in now. Despite of all of this. Messi did not win the CL and Messi did not win his league (Real Won ). C. Ronaldo may be selfish and may wear questionable attire at times but he accomplished way more than any player this year. He should be given the credit he deserves. All us Messi fans will get our day. Heck, Messi may win a World Cup something that Mr. Ronaldo will never achieve.

Hell yeah Messi is better than CR7!!! Messi is a lot better, did anyone remember the way he played against Manchester? He completely made the best defense in the world look like crap! CR7 goes missing in games of mediocre importance, Mess steps up and screws the other team in such situations. So, if it weren't for his injury last season, I'm sure CR7 would be facing a lot more competition than just Casillas.
Lets face it, I don't see Schuster getting fired right now, and the reason being the Classico which is next month. We cannot reorganize with a new coach in just a month, and the best they could do right now is to place some trust in Schuster and hope we don't get nailed the next time we play them. By current form, for sure they will finish us before half time, but I think we do stand a chance. If we can play the remaining games decent and not lose a lot of ground on Barcelona, I think we still do stand a chance at the title. And by the time the transfer window reopens, I am sure we will get at least a few, good players in january but that does not necessarily mean that it will easier after that, but as I said, Madrid will have to play really well to keep up with barcelona this season. They have been really really strong, and the fact that Pep is a new coach thrills me even more. The man is splendid, his tactics are far far better than Schuster, and he has, lets be honest, better players at his disposal. I remembered when, during the summer transfer window, when Eto'o was linked to us, I prayed that it was true and that he would join Madrid. The man is simply the best striker out there. No one, no one in any league even compares to his strike rate, the fact that he was ours once hurts the crap out of me. For once, I feel we must let this be our transition period and allow kids like Bueno and the lot to prosper.

I was and still don't feel that Higuain is a phenomenal talent waiting to explode, he is perhaps good, but nowhere near the talent level of that of Aguero or the good strikers out there, he scores most of his goals through penalties and his finishing is, well lets say not great. Remember his shot at an open goal against Real Union! So, as long as we have him as the main striker at Real Madrid, I do not see a lot of change, we definitely need a better striker, a better holding midfielder and at least 2 more defenders. I am aware that we have 2 good players in the CDM position, but Diarra is simply the worst passer I have seen in professional football and Gago isn't physically strong, though I like him a lot. Sneijder's form comes and goes, and Vaart is, well, he has been a real disappointment. Glass-man, keeps on falling down and plays solo most of the time, (why??!!!!), and we lack a good CM who is capable of doing what Guti did during Capello's reign. All teams have that special player in central mid field, Chelsea has essien/ Ballack, Barcelona has Xavi, United has Carrick/hargreaves, Arsenal has Fabregas/Denilson. And, Real Madrid, has Guti, lazy, lethargic, once in a blue moon Guti! We definitely deserve better, and my prediction for that was De La Red. I am hoping he will return soon, for I really want to see this guy prosper. I feel he has the necessary talent and I am sure he will wear the captain's arm band some day, hope he recovers soon and "becomes what he was born to be" (lord of the rings 3.. )
