Official Shirt Numbers Announced And Sneijder Takes 10

Since Robinho's departure to England, everything has settled down and it has become very quite. Peace!! I love peace.

Anyway, Real Madrid have announced the official shirt numbers. Only a couple of changes, Sneijder takes Robinho's number 10, while Van Der Vaart takes the 23 left by Sneijder.

Hey guyz i just read this on wikipedia.com on van der vaart's page On September 3rd 2008 Van Der Vaart fell out with a Real Madrid team mate and him or his un-named team mate is expected to leave in the January Transfer Window .

i didnt really understand it .
but i wat i got from it is that vdv is leaving us ?

plz anyone care to clearify this ??

What a ridiculous club we have become in the hands of these muppets, at one time we reigned supreme but we have been well and truly overtaken!! I live in Sweden now and everyone in scandinavia talks about Man U last few years. Theyve got that buzz.. no matter what team they put out they try to play the right way.. we dont play nice football.. schuster needs to go so we can play and win like Man U. But we cant do that coz no one wants to play for us!!

I agree completely, we are a second rate team in europe and no one wants to play at the bernabeu no more..just crap youngsters and veterans. Not one of our players would make world 11..maybe casillas but Cech is better to be honest.. ramos may get in ahead of dani alves.. other than no one!! Dont say sneijder, when they are players like gerrard, lampard, kaka, fabregas, xavi, essien, ballack, scholes etc

I dont really like Calderon and Pedja. But I have to agree that they have changed the fortunes of this club. Before they took over we were fighting for 4th place and missed out on the CL. Now we have won 2 Liga's. I hated this C. Ronaldo thing. Now we have to move on. Man U has grown just like Bayern before them, Barca a few years ago and Juventus before that. These things happen in cycles. Give it time and we may be the next powerhouse in Europe. I don't think that people dont want to play for us. Sure we haven't had any luck this transfer window but we haven't been looking because we were waiting for C. Ronaldo. I think we will sign three players come Winter.

COME ON GUYS!! Why do people on this forum jump down other people throats whenever someone tries to make a constructive point???? Its a fact that Robinho was treated badly by Roman and Pedja and these guys are idiots period! We are not strong enough to win the champions league, lets be frank! The big four in england, juve, inter and barca are favourites ahead of us. We won the league last season bcoz barca had so many off field problems. Player for player they are a better team!! They need to gel.. in the champions league i have to say that Manchester have got the best group of players i have seen since Galacticos and Milan of the early 90's.. we should aspire to have a balanced squad like theirs.. look at their firepower.. Rooney, Tevez, C Ronaldo, Berbatov, Scholes, Giggs, Nani, Anderson(WoW what a player..future Ballon D'or winner) and good back up like Hargreaves, Carrick and Park. And they have the best back four too along with chelsea. We simply cannot compete with that strength.... so WE NEED TO BUY BETTER PLAYERS.. not necessarily stars but proven talent!! Higuain, Gago, Pepe, Marcelo all have potential but we cant rely on them already!!
