We have previously reported that Daniel Opare, a promising Ghanaian defender, would join Real Madrid and play with either the first or the second team. Today, the Spanish daily AS has confirmed that the defender has received the full permission to live and work in Spain legally.
AS also states that he has recently started training with the Castilla team and will play with them next season, something which will gain him experience and help him adapt to the Spanish football style. Real directors have high expectations for this young defender and he will hopefully make it into the first team quickly.
To be honest, I've never watched him playing but according to some people, he could be a great player in the future. We already have some young defenders including Torres and Marcelo and with Opare our defense will be more younger something that we hadn't experienced in the trophyless years (dark ages: 2003-2006)

i saw this lad during the u-17 world cup, he is fast on the wings good defender, he was one of the best players at the tourney.
about him going to the Castilla, good idea, he needs the experience.
also there is nothing wrong with us having him in our defense, Torres and Ramos may be young but they have gained some experience and would be able to guide Opare, who before we bought him was already getting call ups to the Ghanian national team(dont know if he has won a cap)
