Please Go And Sign Franck Ribery

Monday, 29 December 08, 09:01 PM · Comments (26)

Dear Pedja Mijatovic,

My name is Adam Bader and I'm the Real Madrid blogger. I've heard that you are looking for a winger and there have been a lot of names mentioned in the press. Most of these names are not Real Madrid players in the sense that they could play for a big club like Real Madrid.

There is a little French guy who goes by the name of Frank Ribery. Back in 2006, when you and sir Ramon Calderon took over, I heard that he was going to move to Real, but instead went to Bayern Munich. Guess you guys didn't like how he looks, but now you should, and by the way he is handsome, and you MUST sign him if you want to win something this year.

He is incredibly fast. He dribbles well, he is a playmaker and not a trouble-maker, overall, he is damn good.

We have Robben, who is undeniably a fantastic winger, but he is not enough.

Since we sold Robinho, nobody has managed to play very well on the wing, of course, except Robben.

A while ago, Beckenbauer told me that he wouldn't resist Real if they approached Ribery, and today, Ribery called me to say that he loves Real and loves our history, so please book a ticket to Munich and sign him.

Ribery said:

"Clearly there are other clubs that make you dream - Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester United. But I like Madrid for their story and history."

So Mr.Mijatovic, If you think I'm stupid, I'm NOT ..... I'm sure everyone who reads this blog agrees with me, or don't you?

Hala Madrid!

Ribery during the winter! I doubt that would happen, if it did, I would jump off a cliff in excitement, get back up and do it again =D Only problem being, he plays in the Champions League which at this point is our main goal and if we can't create the Robben-Ribery partnership for the CL, what's the point? But, he's Ribery and he's still one of the best. Hala Madrid! :)

Better to have him on our side than against us, lol! Who knows, we might meet Bayern along the way... and it would lay down a foundation for next season.

Ah, not holding my breath though. It won't happen soon.

Yeah, It is difficult to sign him, but we should try. I think If Real had put all of their efforts into signing him this summer instead of signing Ronaldo, we might have signed him.

lol @ the so called "petition". Ribery is brilliant and of course we would love to see in a white shirt. But we know it wont happen this season anyway. To everyone whos saying Valencia is the only non cup tied winger. There are lots of great wingers in places like Argentina. Neri Cardozo check out that guy. Also there is that guy at River Plate who they have been trying to sign. Augusto Fernandez I think.

Franck Ribéry is a fantastic player and he's handsome just like you said Adam.
What do we want?
A beautiful guy with an ugly personality (guess who?) or a guy marked by life and with a beautiful personality?
By me, an easy choise!
Come, come Ribéry, I've loved you since September 2005! :P

Hey there !!

First of all thnks for the article . U're right .He has recently mentioned that he longs to play in "LA Liga" esp in one of the biggest teams such FC.Barcelona, Real Madrid ....but He also mentioned that his style resembles Messi's and hope to play side by side with him and not against him .Therefore, He implicitly mentionin that he prefers Barcelona to Madrid .

Moreover, Ribery is a muslem . So he wanna play in Barcelona where there plenty of Muslems where the administration arrange special trainin, food, and schedule in Ramadan and the rest of the year.Furthermore, There are other Frnech players such as Therry Henry and Abidal with whom he used to play .

The prob is that do we still have any spare place for him the current squad?

I don't know if he said something else, but he clearly pointed out that from the four clubs he mentioned, Real are the ones he prefer.

As far as his religion is concerned, that is besides the point. He is Muslim and so is M.Diarra who has had two good Ramaddans with Real.

When the holy month of Rammadan comes, Real also install a certain system for Diarra so he could stay healthy and practice his religion. It is the same at all professional clubs.

Thanks for stopping by!

couldn't agree with more

the names we've seen these couple is days is just nonsense , players like GJermaine Pennant and that cska moscow serbian player,i mean come on who are those guys ! are they really worthy of player for Madrid !! ,,

i mean lets face it none of the player caledron promised to buy on the campaign were bought , not Kaka not Cristiano not even Ribery ..

i hate to say it but i wish Florentino Pérez were here ..he's the only guy that stood to his words and got the players he promised to bring ..

I'm beginning to lose my patience with this administration , the only good thing they did this winter was Huntelaar !

i would love to have ribery at madrid and i would love it even more to see the end of calderon and mijatovic. yes perez made a mess but atleast under him people looked up to real madrid as the greatest club. now madrid are seen as a joke even though we are not, and its only because of the stupidity of mr dumb and dumber. florentino got carried away and if someone can repeat what he did but without the mistakes, real would be by far the best club at this time

They cleaned Florentino's mess and brought about another mess. Florentino failed because he didn't know to stop those crazy signning and totally neglected the teamn's defense(the act of selling Makelele was insane). Calderon fails because he doesn't know how to get it started........!!

I am a huge Bayern and Ribery fan, and as much as I love him being with Bayern, I know that when his contract is over he will move on. I would think he would be best off moving to a club like Barcelona that plays more of his style, or to Arsenal, who deffently plays his style. Till that time comes though, Im hoping to see Ribery lead Bayern past Barcelona and win the Champions League this year.

We want ribery in Man Utd !! Take C.Ronaldo Real Madrid he'll do a better game there. As far,as we can observe, ronaldo seems to be uninterested in playing with man utd.. so better let go ronaldo and bring Frank Ribery to Old Trafford.

How quickly you united fans turn agaisnt your players. especially that looney old man who you call Alex ferguson. Stam, Cantona, Beckham, Ruud and Ronaldo are some of the greatest players of united in recent history and just look at how they all left and how most likely ronaldo is going to leave.

i actually very strongly used to feel that players like RVN and Beckham were dicks but that is just the united effect. when these two came to real madrid people got to see what nice guys these two were. you never know, once ronaldo leaves united and goes to real madrid he might actually turn out to be a nice guy

One reason why i don't want real to sign united is because i don't want 80-100m of real's money to go to united. i would much rather united keep him and real madrid spend that money on greats like ribery and kaka because eventually united will force ronaldo out of the team for something like 20-30m
