Do you know that watching football is pretty much difficult these days? I mean, for every single competition in which your team plays, you need to chase a certain channel, feed, website or anything else just to watch your team and at the end of the day, you end up not watching anything (maybe Grounded For Life, ER or That 70's Show in my case?)
This is what is practically happening to me and to tons of other people especially in the States. The fault is the TV Networks', they are only in it for the money (hell yeah) and they don't give a damn about us, football addicts.
Anyway, I just had to let that go - I'm sorry if I have been swearing a lot lately as one reader noticed, but what the heck?
Real take on Racing Santander at the later's stadium which has always been kinda difficult for every team.
Racing are not an easy opponent, but they are usually inconsistent. If I'm not mistaken, they draw Barca 1-1, but they managed to take that point because Barca simply sucked, thats the real reason, so I'm now aiming for a win, nothing but a win. We just need to keep the ball rolling, folks.
Our game against Numancia was good although the defense was obviously weak but that was normal considering that botth Cannavaro and Ramos were not there. However, the game against BATE Borisov was quite bad and we shouldn't repeat the same performance tomorrow night.
Lineup:
Schuster will be missing Gago and Sneijder due to injury. I have been sidelined for three days myself and so I don't know If Schuster will be missing any others, but assuming that the rest of the gang will be fine, the German trainer will have a good squad and shouldn't whine in the pre or post match conferences.
Casillas will absolutely start in goal. Ramos will take the right side of the defense, while Cannavaro and Pepe will partner up in the center and Marcelo on the left (Heinze lost his dad - condolences Gabriel).
In the midfield, I think Schuster will keep faith in Diarra especially after Gago got injured or he might make a surprise changing and start De La Red, you never know.
With Diarra, there should be Guti who is having a good time I guess. Robben will play on the right of the midfield while Van Deer Vaart will be absolutely featuring on the left.
Upfront, Ruud will no doubt be there. As for captain Rau'l, will he be there? I think yeah, but once again you never know.
Well, this was basically my lineup. I hope that Schuster will come up with the best lineup he has got if he aint like this one.
Prediction:
This is a tough one. Real will get into the match with their minds still on the Champions League (especially after they gave a crappy performance while Juve kicked-ass) and will face a good team in their own stadium.
Nevertheless, we will win. 3-1. Ruud scores the first two and Van Der Vaart scores from a fantastic free-kick.
Now, whats your thoughts, lineup and prediction?
Hala Madrid!

Ramos Cannavaro Pepe Marcelo
Diarra Guti (C)

I think this will be the formation. Racing Santander 1 - 2 Real Madrid
