Real Madrid Vs D.C. United Tickets

D.C. United's Account Executive, Zach Walker, has sent me an email letting me know about the availability of Real Madrid - D.C United tickets through a pre-sale link.

Adam,

So I thought I'd pass it along to you guys in case you are thinking about watching both Kaka and Ronaldo in white ;)

Speaking of Ronaldo, it is a deal done, but he needs to sort out some little details. He will reportedly earn $1m a month (the same salary as Kaka I believe), and his injury isn't dangerous and he should be available for the team's summer tour.

Real Madrid's Preseason

Real Madrid will report for training on 10 July. Following standard medical checkups the team will travel to Dublin on the 13th and stay until the 22nd. A friendly is scheduled while in Ireland but the opponent has yet to be determined. Four days after returning to Spain the Madridistas will kick off their participation in the Peace Cup, whose final is set for 2 August. A few days later Pellegrini and company head to Canada for a 7 August friendly against Toronto FC followed by a trip to Washington D.C. to play D.C. United two days later.

Other than those participating in the Confederations Cup, all first team players are expected to return to work on 10 July. The following day they will undergo routine checkups that are carried out before the start of each campaign. On 13 August the Whites head to Dublin, Ireland for nine days, during which they will play an exhibition match against a team yet to be determined.
Four days after returning from Dublin Real Madrid begin their Peace Cup run. On 26 July they host Liga Universitaria Quito (Ecuador) at the Bernabeu followed by Al-Ittihad (Saudi Arabia) two days later. The semifinals and final are to be played in Seville, the latter of which is scheduled for 2 August.
After the Peace Cup, Real Madrid head to North America. The first stop is Canada, where on 7 August the Whites square off against Toronto FC. Two days later, on 9 August, Real are in the US capital for an exhibition match against DC United.

I'll be going to the DC United game too. I just don't know where I should sit: with the Madridistas behind the West goal or midfield?

ah, help? :?

They will be sitting everywhere ;),it will be a fun game but i don't expect to see much time for the starters more for the bench players but still seeing Ronaldo and Kaka sitting on the bench together is well worth the $.

I'll probably just get the midfield since when I went to the Barcelona (I know, I know) match in '06 I was behind the goal and it was alright. The drums were exciting but they were red bull drums. -.-'

Plus, all I need is a glimpse of Casillas and I'll be good to go ;)

I really don't understand this need for David Villa.
Yes,he is world class and prolific but Klaas J.Huntelaar and Gonzalo Higuain have covered that spot.
Despite harsh critism on Huntelaar ,im guessing with the support of Ronaldo and Kaka he will become good.As for those looking for creativity,Higuain is the man.he needs playing time and if Villa comes, that will hinder his progress.
Furthermore we already have our very own David Villa in the form of Alberto Bueno. He needs to be given chances to break through the first team. Now that we have bought world stars,we need to produce some ourselves !

it's not the matter whether or not Villa is needed, it matters whether or not his arrival can STRENGTHEN our squad. He is the most reliable striker in La Liga along with Eto. he is a promising goal scorer. He is the best in Europe and he can earn a place in the lineup of every single team in the world. Klass is a "one-touch" striker but Villa can carry the ball at the edge of the box and seeking opportunity to either pass or to create space to shoot. He is superb. This type of striker also can enhance our poor ball movement up front, that's sth i don't see klass stand out as much as Villa does to his team. However, I do worry about Higuain. it's worth it to invest on him even though he is NOT YET in the top ranking. He was the only one who stepped up when we played shit. he deserves to be started next season. I just hope that Pellegrini can come up with a solution. although the Chilian coach used to play 4-4-2, i think a 4-3-3 is still worth it to be tried. This is according to his will, in an interview, he revealed that he wants to have kaka as the playmaker and Ronaldo as the "Keyman" who launches attacks, like how messi played for barca. With such a lineup, two strikers can be easily fitted in. some might argue that Villa and Higuain CAN'T play together. I dare u a side bet. Villa and Higuain CAN play together anytime. Higuain is a superb second striker with his run while VIlla has already got used to play alone up front in Valencia.

We need Villa even though we have Higuain Villa will still give us something extra and we should buy him plus we need a lot of players in case of injuries but hope not.. after Villa we should get some defenders and after we strengthen our defense we should try to bring in Silva, and Alonos, and Ribery using some players in some deals for those 3 players

Check out the quote of th day; "There are somethings Perez can't buy, for everything else there's MasterCard." =D When we get Villa, our attack will be complete, after that we need to look for defenders and a young, prmosing winger.

As for the Maicon thing, i'm unsure about his signing because Garay should be Pepe's partner and Ramos has lost his touch at centre-back. What we need is a left-back, we'd be awesome if we could get a World-Class left-back. We would line-up something like this. Casillas, Ramos, Pepe, Garay, Lahm, Ronaldo, Lass, Kaka, Robben, Higuain, Villa. If that doesn't spell 10th CL then what does :D

Id like to get 2 defenders a centre back and a left back possibly Albiol and Clichy.. making our defense look like this Ramos,Pepe,Albiol,Clichy.. backups Torres,Garay,Metzelder,Marcelo.. any updates on Ronaldo with his personal agreement or David Villa ?

I still want Ribery. I would be disappointed If he went somewhere else. I'd even go and trade him with Robben.

ACCORDING to THE SUN which is not that great of a source it says we have offered liverpool Arjen Robben for Xabi Alonso a straight swap.. Even though The Sun is not always credible the deal makes sense because they need a winger and we want Xabi Alonso.. and it says if they turn this bid down we will try a deal with Heinze.. LINK

This where im confused.Kaka,Ronaldo,Higuain and Robben are all players that can carry the ball well and they are good at it.can Villa really bring something different because there is only one ball in each game ?
and to see how many players with good skills with the ball that we already have ,maybe what we actually need is a one touch man,
that is Klaas Jan Huntelaar.

With Bayern not keen on letting Ribery go, Arjen Robben is our only world class wide player next to Cristiano Ronaldo.and looking at how shortage of wide players affected our season last time out, i think it would be a bad move.
Plus,we already have Ruben De La Red and Fernando Gago if he is guided properly.

We don't need Villa? WHAT?

We had the most uncreative front line in history last year. Sure Higuan is great but he's only the best of the worst. Face it. A guy like Villa will be the difference between winning trophies. Just like how Ronaldo was.

robben should stay i think he is togehter with messi and cristiano ronaldo the best in the world. Since we can't really say ribery is better becasue he hasn't played on really toplevel yet. And i think he deserved to play after the season he played plus it seems he doens't get that much injured anymore i mean he had 3 big injuries. But sneijder seems to get more and more injured so i think real should sell him.
