Real Madrid Vs Recreativo Huelva | La Liga Preview

Real Madrid Vs Recreativo Huelva - La Liga | 22/11/2008 - 20:00 CET | Santiago Bernabeu Stadium

Huelva vs Real

So Pedja has decided to let Bernd Schuster give it another shot. Whether that was a wise or a bad decision, It doesn't matter, because Schuster will probably be staying to the end of the season. He needs to think objectively rather than subjectively. I think he needs to call Fabio Capello and ask him to give him a lesson or lets say two a week so he could improve his coaching skills.

I mean, Schuster needs to realize that we are in a difficult situation. I say difficult because we got kicked out from Copa Del Rey, humiliated twice by Juventus and slipped from the second to the fifth position on the table with five points behind leaders Barcelona.

I really do know that injuries have had an impact on all of these results, but c'mon, didn't Juventus beat us just with 12 first team players? The difference was the coach, theirs was smart and had common sense.

Anyway, we take on Recreativo Huelva tomorrow night at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. We have played them eight times and they have only beaten us once, two years ago, when they scored three goals and humiliated Capello and his team.

Lineup

Fabio Cannavaro has joined the sickbay as he abandoned today's training session with a strained abductor muscle. Our defense was weak with Cannavaro and now that he is injured, it is gonna be weaker. He will probably miss the Champions League match against BATE Borisov as well. Damn it!

Pepe, on the other hand, has made the squad list. What is weird though is that there is no Heinze and I couldn't figure out if that is a coaching decision or he just committed suicide. I mean he isn't mentioned at all.

Bueno has made the list again.

Goalkeepers
Casillas, Dudek
Defenders
Salgado, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo, Metzelder, Torres
Midfielders
Gago, Sneijder, Guti, Drenthe, Van der Vaart, Javi García
Forwards
Raúl, Saviola, Higuaín, Bueno

So, as you can see, the midfield is the only area in which we have more than two key players. I really I;m worried that we will concede goals, though. I just hope that Schuster will go with those in defense:

Ramos - Pepe - Metz - Marcelo

We could use Ramos in central defense and play either Torres or Salgado on the right, but I think Ramos is more comfortable and effective when he plays on the right.

I'd love Schuster to start with Sneijder this time instead of Gago. This could mean that Guti will have to play closer to the defense. Higuain would start on the right and VDV on the left. Rau'l and Saviola up front. I mean like this

--------- Guti ----------

Higuain            VDV

          Sneijder

Saviola      Rau'l

Prediction

Huelva won't make it easy. If our defense improves, we will win. Thats our weakest point - the defense - we do fine in attack, but we just concede more than we score, nevertheless, I'm gonna predict a 2-0 win for us.

Sneijder and Higuain.

What are your thoughts, prediction and lineup?

Hala Madrid!

P.S: My ADSL is being odd and I'm writing this on a diaup connection. I just wanted to post a quick post and that meant no in-depth analysis and thoughts so I'd appreciate if you provide these in the comments section. Thanks!

Hi! i am realy surprised about Schuster but i realized that it was better keeping him to prevent tension between the players, about the game tomorro which i think is a must-win game, thank god Heinze is not playing i think Torres or Metzelder will replace him,i prefer Torres because he was discovered by Capello with Higuain and Gago.
My lineup:
Casillas

Ramos...Torres...Pepe...Marcelo

Sneijder.............Guti..................VDV

Higuain
Saviola...................Rau'l

I predict a 5-0 win,Rau'l 2,Saviola 1,Higuain 1 and Marcelo 1
Forza Madrid!

Qz: 1)What happend to Heinze?(wish he's dead) =D
2)Is it true that De La Red is going to retire because of a heart disease? :\
3)Who's Real Madrid 100% coming striker? :?

Heinze is not playing bcuz of his red card last week it was so beautiful when he got it it almost made me cry i was so happy it was the only thing good that came out of that game, but don't worry cuz stupid shuster will have him bak in the line up this week vs bate and they will score a goal on us and it will be all heinze's fault. Anyways i would like to see
------------Casillas-----------
Torres---Ramos---Pepe---Marcelo
--------------Gago-------------

Sneijder------Guti----------VDV

-------Higuain-----Raul--------
Ten bucks shuster doesn't sub Raul for Saviola even though we a champs game this week what a looser.

Torres can't play in central defense, so if he is going to start, he'll play on the right, with Ramos partnering Pepe in the center.

As for Heinze, I still have no idea. Guess I need to investigate into it later.

No, De La Red will probably come back next week. I heard that story, but it is hard to believe.

As for the coming striker, the closest one is Crespo.

Also if you have read the article on MARCA about Calderon giving each player 120.000 euros to each player if they win the next 5 games what the fuck (sorry for the language is he thinking if you are a Real Madrid player and just playing to win and earn your money is not enough of an incentive than you should not be playing. Calderon is pretty much saying its ok u guys havn't been winning and playing hard but hey here's a load of money just play well for 5 games.

It's becoming easier to predict a draw or loss these days but I am going to be positive.....we will win 1-0 goal by a midfielder (VDV/Sneidjer)
If the cash incentives are true then what the heck.....we will win 7-0 (raul 5, higuain 1 and ramos 1)

Why do Barcelona fans have to such jerks? I mean, I regularly participate in the forums at fcbnews.com, and I never write junk against them. Idrismediaman, trust me, if you think that your little stint is going to make you smart or tough, think again, just proves how impotent you really are. Its fools like you who make the hatred and rivalry reach the 'ugly' stage, which is definitely not required.
I say we win by 3-0, in a very convincing manner. I never thought I'd say this, but our midfield finally will come alive and play what they are paid for. First time we will say, good game Madrid!

Hmm, we'll see then, how will the result be without heinze in the defense. I mean, just look at the spanish international, they're not conceded, and the keeper is also casillas, so the problem must be in the defense, it's been a long time since we see torres play in the league, i hope the one who play in the central defense is ramos, not metz, metz is simply slow, he's easy enough to be past by the attacker, raul will not be replaced, i dont know what kind of spell he had cast on schuster, but it looked like he did well in the training, but can't transform it in the match, or maybe he got no other choice? Since saviola is'nt the same like RVN (missed him so much), but i hope miracle happen, and schuster decided to play higuain as central forward, HALA MADRID!!

I predict a draw 2-2 that's if Real defence don't give away 3 goals but if Real defence have a bad game it put pressure on the whole team and the result would be 1-2 but if Raul and Higuain has a good game i say 3-1................LOL...... that's alot of prediction anyway Real will win this game and my final prediction is, Real wins 2-1

This match should be good, a big one for everyone. I think that we'll win 2-0 thanks to goals from Sneijder and Higuain. Why I say 2-0 is because Recre are abysmal in attack and them winning against us at the Bernebeau is a huge insult and could be the last straw for Schuster. As for the transfer rumors going about, there's another one going about that Tevez has agreed to join Real in 2009/2010 season but after so many years listening to Marca and AS, i'd rather wait till something becomes concrete. Hala Madrid! :)

I don't agree with the cash incentives....however if they're going to improve the results you have to do what you ave to do aye. However I highly doubt that we will win all the next five games...we will draw atleast one of them for sure.I heard Metz is injured so I can't understand how come he's in the squad list...so my line up is the following:
--------------------Casillas
Salgado---Ramos----------------Pepe-----Marcelo
-------------------------Gago
-------------Guti
Sneijder
-------------------------------------Drenthe
----------Saviola
---------------------Higuain
I honestly beleive Saviola will start today....don't know why. Also I don't think VDV will start the match...I think he will go in in the 60th For Sneijder/Denthe depending on the score.I predict 1-0 for Real Madrid scored by Saviola/Sneijder

On any given day i'd say real would crack 3 craps over recreativo but unfortunetly not today due to injuries and bad coaching however i predict a 3 nill victory raul will wake up snatching twice and higuain will score a penalty , ramos will punsh the refree in the face and get a red card and heinze will try his best to make things easier for recreativo on his side lol and as usual schuster will give saviola a 3 mins shot to put some sweat on his shirt ....
is saviola banging his wife ? his daughter ?

hala madrid !

Whenever Ramos is rumored to be upset about something at the club, this same rumor pops up, so nah.

This is sad..as much as i'm pleased with the win, Pipita was taken off on a stretcher :\ I just hope he makes it back in less than two weeks. As for the game, it was a good one, we finally got that clean-sheet after some okay defending. We wasted atleast 5 concrete chances so shame on the attack, the wrong side of play let us down. Still, we won and this should be a huge boost for us. Hala Madrid! :)
