Ruud is gone, and it is not gonna be fun.
This match is not only important to the team, but also to Bernd Schuster who is not sleeping at night. It could be his last match, and it could give him another chance, but one thing is certain, the German will do whatever he can to win it.
However, with many key players in the sickbay, his job won't be easy. Ruud out for the season, Robben for two months, De La Red still being rested, Torres, Pepe, Cannavaro and Metzelder still recovering, things are a bit complicated and no one at this moment wants to be in the trainer's shoes.
Lineup
So Schuster will have to wait until tomorrow to know if he can't count on Cannavaro, Pepe or Metzelder. As for Ramos, he'll be able to play after he used the Copa Del Rey game to serve his suspension.
In addition to the out-of-form Heinze, Schuster will have Javi Garcia, Salgado and Marcelo. However, the problem is, whoever is gonna play, the defense will still be weak. I don't know whats wrong, but it seems there is no harmony and connection between the back four. And honestly, Heinze' recent mistakes have cost us a lot so I hope he won't play.
In midfield, there are Guti, Gago, Sneijder, VDV and Drenthe. Diarra is still injured but will probably recover sooner than expected.
In attack, there are only three first team players and those are: Saviola, Rau'l and Higuain. Schuster will probably call up Bueno to replace Ruud.
My lineup: Casillas, Salgado, Ramos, Cannavaro, Marcelo, Guti, Gago, VDV, Sneijder, Higuain, Saviola.
Prediction
3-2 for Real. Higuain scores the first two and Guti scores the winner.

I would love to see Saviola and Higauin up front but Schuster job is on line so he is gonna star Raul and Higauin.... He is gonna start Raul because of his experience.... I know Schuster has the potential to be a good coach GIVE HIM ANOTHER 5 YEARS
for me it's still not safe for me to predict a Real victory cause our defense stinks. Sure we may score but as the Real Union game showed us....our defense stinks. Real neeed to get fresh in both defense and attack. Thanks Ruud and Raul for all you've done but we no longer need you. Robben, you're great but we just can't depend on you. cannavaro...Napoli is waiting for you....Heinze, I could care less where you go.

I agree however that the coach shouldn't get sacked.Also,don't forget last season when Barcelona were a full 8points behind us and they narrowed the 8 points to just 2 points in a matter of weeks.Also when we were under the guidience of Capello and the same thing happened...we were 8points behind barca and won the league

I think its one of Schuster's most important moments of his life .. he really should put all that he knows in this game .. its going to be interesting .

Schuster!! I will be happy if he fired out but not by loosing this match he deserved that from the bigining of the season,Valladolid as I seen them in the last match had weak defence(like us}and I am sure our strickers will score at least two goals if they give good performance.
Also they havent good strikers but according to our defence who knows what will be happen!!
