Robinho is untransferible, Real to sue Ronaldo, Baptista in Rome?

Robinho

Morning everyone,

After two days off at the beach in sunny Rome, here I am back in businuss. I thought that I missed a lot, but clearly, there hasn't been that much.

Robinho's situation looks to be quite at the moment with Real refusing to negotiate with Chelsea. Ramon Calderon has stated during an interview with BBC that Robinho is definitely going nowhere. He said that Bernd Schuster insists that the Brazilian international is an integral part of his squad and there isn't any replacments for him and there won't be as such a player is very difficult to replace.

Personally, I have always critisized Real Madrid for their treatment of Robinho. I myself have felt many times that he was undervalued, but you can't say for sure what has been going on between himself and the club unless you are there.

Chelsea has officially made a bid which Real discribed as redicilous. Alright, If their bid is rediclious, sir Calderon, don't you think that the contract you are offering him is rediclious too? As far as I know, Robinho earns 4m euros per year, pretty much lower than the likes of Robben, Casillas and probably Ramos. If you ask me, I think that, somehow, is quite unfair given the fact that he is one of the best players in the world and he is still young, meaning that he is still has time to improve, and still has time to move to another club.

The only solution to this problem is to spend the money that has been devoted to Ronaldo's purchace, to improve Robinho's contract. Maybe even a life-time contract as Raul's and Casillas'? That would be awesome.

Anyway, in case you haven't heard, rumors have it that Real are going to sue Ronaldo. Why? Because he decided not to come. Very silly, BUT, the thing is, and as I speculated in a recent post, Ronaldo has signed a pre-agreement with Calderon just after Portugal was kicked out of the Euro2008. If this was to be believed, Ronaldo must pay Real $25m for breaking the terms or go in jail. Pretty scary and evil, huh? If thats true, then Ronaldo must be dump and Calderon must be a criminal.

Last but not least, the Beast, Baptista is reportedly here in Rome, finilazing a five-year deal with AS Roma. Well, I haven't seen him here, but this looks to be true. Marca claims that he will be presented as an AS Roma player in the next few days. I will check some Italan newspapers and see if this is true and let you know.

In the meantime, tell me what you think about all of this, and maybe I missed something here or there, so just go ahead and speak your mind.

More tomorrow, gang.

i think Calderon now is valuing Robinho but it will be better if Calderon renewes his contract and pay him 10 million euros a year :P

No, 10m a year is a lot. He deserves no more than 6.5 million euros.

R.Madrid has no option, so it's not by choice but by force they can't sell him, no C.Ronaldo comming this summer so no one else in the world can draw three or four defenders when they have the ball like Robinho, so R.Madrid aren't crazy to sell him, and also Calderon want to stay as R.Madrid president for a long time, so he don't want the fans to hate him anyworst

Dissapointing to hear about Baptista. I wish him luck in at Roma. As for C. Ronaldo I am confused. How can he sign a pre-contract when he is still a Man U player? Isn't that illegal? I hope this is true that way people can see how underhanded and deceitful transfers are.

I'm not a lawyer, and I'm a bit confused too, but the Papers claim that it had been done before with Figo. Maybe there is a rule that allows players to agree personal terms with other clubs without a permission of their current club.

I don,t believe everything what the papers said!
They have right to create the stories, even strange ones, because there is always a danger of a real crime!
But they are responsible for their words too, yes!

We can't fall to the pressure, yet we can't keep a player against his will, we don't want to be Feguson now do we?:P
Robinho at this point of time could NOT be placed, no matter who we bring in, even if it's Quaresma, let's be honest, all he's done is proven himself in the BWIN Liga, yet he's pretty bad in continental and Internation games, that doesn't show quality. I do have a feeling though that Robinho's just doing this for a better contract. Hala Madrid!

Actually, no, you can't agree personal terms like that, there are caluses in a players contract which can get him a heavy fine for doing that and if Ronaldo did such a thing and United find out, it won't be pretty for anyone. Figo's deal has just been revealed though, officially that is and without proof, Barcelona could only moan for losing their three best players in three consecutive years :P As for Baptista, he really has turned out to be not as good as he's supposed to be, he under-performs most of the time and you expect much much better for someone who was bought for £26m. If he goes, it'll be better for him because he'll have another chance to shine because he usually warms the bench and with VDV, he barely stands any chance. Hala Madrid!

Personally, I hope this Ronaldo retires. We just dont need him. If I was rich I'd give him a lot of money and ask him to be away from Real Madrid. You know it is like a Dad asking his son's/daughter's boyfriend or girlfriend to be away lol =D

You're right, we don't really need him and in a way, we would need to make a lot of room for him by benching people like Robben and Robinho and that's absurd, Robben and Robinho playing to their best can outclass Ronaldo. If we do need something it's a striker and to get rid of Salgado, he's no more the Salgado who could run through everyone and cross the ball, he can't even defend now, he has to push and dirty tackle people to get the ball. We should get Garay back to replace him and possibly bring Opare to the first team, he seems like an outstanding prospect from what i've seen of him. Hala Madrid!

Salgado, at least, is not a trouble maker. He knows that he has given it all and now it is time to retire so he is making some bucks before he retires. I think we should let him enjoy it =D
