Robinho Speaks Again And Says He Wants Chelsea

Sunday, 31 August 08, 08:07 AM · Comments (8)

Drenthe as a replacment for Robinho? Good idea, I say.

Robinho has held a press conference today announcing once again that he wishes to leave Real Madrid, heading to Chelsea. This is the second time that Robinho speaks about the issue publicly insisting that he is not interested in staying at the Bernabeu.

From what I understand, and from Robinho's statements, the club is still refusing to let him go unless they sign a replacment, something quite difficult considering that the transfer window is about to shut down.

"I have told Schuster and Pedja that I want to leave the club," Robinho told reporters. "The coach thinks that he can have me back, but I am only thinking about playing for Chelsea.
"My agent has gone to the club a thousand times to speak to them and the club has not shown any interest in keeping me.
"Now that the club have failed to sign anyone else, suddenly they want me to stay."

Schuster has recently stated that he wants to keep hold of Robinho as he is an integral part of his squad, however, Robinho claims that the German trainer has never made him feel comfortable about his situation and rejected the idea that Schuster is interested in his own good just like his father:

"Schuster is not my father, he is only my coach," he continued.

We know Robinho, we know he isn't your father.... but if you want to leave then tell Cheliski to pay your buy-out clause and you can both be happily married. 50m euros that is the buy-out clause, whether thats a lot or not, it is not our businuss, it is yours.

And I forgot to say... don't you think it would be wise to depend on Drenthe and VDV as replacments untill the winter transfer window opens?

A football fan simply has to appreciate Chelseas persistance for years, they are really a good team, but....and if Robinho decided to go to Chelsea(and he did),I would let him go!
That is only my opinion

That is not the same story!
Robinho said he has lost the faith in this team(what I have felt a month ago)and found his future with Scolary!Ok!
Ronaldo never lost the faith in his future either in United
or here!Or anywhere!
And now Chelsea want him cheap, that is the problem!
