Marca claims that Real Madrid's midfielder, Wesley Sneijder has recovered from his injury and started training with the team "normally". However, according to the same paper, Sneijder won't be a starter against Espanyol but he might make the squad.

This is certainly good news for us as we really need him to cover the left wing. I just don't want Schuster to rush him immediately and rather wait and give him a few minutes in each of our next couple of matches. I want him to get a few minutes against Espanyol & Atletico Madrid so he will be able to start against Juventus.

He will make a good partnership with Van Der Vaart in the midfield. However, either De La Red or Diarra will lose their places if he starts unless Schuster plays with one striker upfront.

In the meantime, check out these interesting statistics which reveal how many minutes each player has played so far.

Player Minutes
Casillas 450
Pepe 450
Diarra 413
Robben 358
Van Nistelrooy 338
Marcelo 324
Raúl 322
Higuaín 317
Van der Vaart 286
De la Red 281
Ramos 270
Heinze 270
Guti 216
Cannavaro 180
Torres 120
Metzelder 90
Salgado 90
Javi García 57
Drenthe 48
Saviola 35
Gago 0
Sneijder 0
Dudek 0
Codina 0

This is why I proposed the rotation system. Every player is trated fairly.

Hala Madrid!

I Just Hope That Schuster Gives Wesley A Chance To Participate In Espanyol's Match , Even If It Was In The Last 5 mins , Just To Get His Morale High So He's Ready Against Atlético.

Word Is That Guti & Gago Are Close To Being Fit And Will Be Ready For Atlético's Match !!

Real do need to take things slowly with him plus I don't want the Dutch national team to call him up and force an issue for him to play. we need him fully fit for CL especially.

Poor Saviola.....35 MINUTES!
