I haven't posted that much recently mainly due to the fact that a family member passed away and I didn't have time to go online. Anyway, I just thought you might like to see the team's official 2008/09 photo.
I couldn't find a larger version so If anyone of you guys has it, please link to it in the comment section and I'll upload it here.
Hala Madrid!
P.S: I'll be back to regular posting starting from tomorrow.

Real Madrid Vs Deportivo La Coruña - La Liga | 25/01/2009 - 21:00 CET | Santiago Bernabeu
Real Madrid take on Deportivo La Coruña tomorrow night at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid.
Juande Ramos has announced his squad list which excludes Marcelo and Saviola (who is unhappy at the club -- and he has the right to be) as well as the injured folks (Ruud, Diarra and De La Red).
However, both of Drenthe and Torres return to the squad.

UPDATE: Ramon Calderon has officially stepped down -- and vice-president, Vicente Boluda, has been chosen to be the new president until new elections take place.
Earlier today:
It was reported yesterday that Ramon Calderon would resign from his post, and vice-president, Vicente Boluda, would take over until an official election takes place. However, just this morning, the man himself announced that he'll not quit unless the board members force him to do so.
A press conference will take place today at 10:00 CET and we'll then find out the final decision.
However......
Should Ramon stay or not?
Will his resignation effect the team?
What do you guys think?
Fingers crossed.
Hala Madrid!

In the last few weeks, I have been stressing on the fact that we were creating chances but not scoring them. That's what I call ineffectiveness in front of goal. It could be due to our
strikers' lack of "super scoring instincts" or it could just be because they were having a bad day.
However, tonight was different because we scored as much as we could and we also could have scored more hadn't Arjen Robben been unlucky on many
occasions. Obviously, and as we you might have probably expected, Robben played an important role in our win. Not only his movement throughout the right wing helped us take some pressure off
the defense and midfield, but also helped us to score as he was a striker, and more importantly a "PLAY MAKER".
Mallorca started the match pretty well, going forward and putting pressure on our defense. But they seemingly forgot that there was a very quick guy named Robben on our team that in the 2nd
minute of the game, received a fantastic long-range pass from Higuain, went forward to face the goalkeeper and sent the ball into the back of the
net. That was the end of the match for Mallorca, because whenever they thought about attacking, they also considered the dangerousness of Arjen Robben along the right flank. That counter-attack
really killed them off - so early.
Juande Ramos had previously given the "Okay" for Robben to move freely on the pitch. I think that was the key point and was what improved our performances so dramatically. A player like Robben
needs to play as he wishes. That doesn't mean, he dictates the way the team plays, but he should be allowed to switch to other positions whenever he wants. That's exactly the same thing that
Messi does at Barcelona, he is free and that's the driving force behind his brilliant performances
(of course in addition to his fantastic talent).
Juande started with the same lineup he used against Villarreal but with the addition of Gonzalo Higuain who had just recovered from his
injury.
Here is the exact lineup: Casillas, Ramos, Pepe, Cannavaro, Heinze, Lass, Gago, Robben, Sneijder, Higuain and Rau'l.

Hey All! Kristen here for RMT. Sorry for not writing as much this week. I have been really busy with review week at school for exam week ( So, I won't be around too much this week and next week).
Anyway, I have also been aware of my past actions a couple of posts ago. I just want to say that I am truly sorry for the way I acted and I want to say that I am sorry. I was really stupid for saying the whole Pro-Messi comment. Anyway, here is the latest news and tidbits. :) I have also linked them to the actual story. :)

Hey everyone! Happy New Year! :) Kristen here. :)
So, I was on my daily rounds of the transfer websites and the same thing was coming up on all of them, the Jermaine Pennant story. Earlier today, he was quoted as saying that he would like to leave Liverpool and go to Atl. Madrid. Then, later in the day, he was quoted as saying that he is "flattered" that Real Madrid have an interest in him and that he KNOWS 100% that Real Madrid has talked to Liverpool about him. He then later said on guillembalague.com that he would look into going to Real.
AHHH! It is all so confusing. Jermaine, please make up your mind!
But, you have to admit, this is the "beauty" of the transfer market. You have to love it. So, I ask you, do you want Pennant in the...

2008 has generally been a good year for me, for Real Madrid and for RealmadridTalk. Now that today is the last day in 2008, it is time to reflect on this year and make goals for the next one!
Real Madrid
2008 for Real Madrid, has been, oh yeah, an Okay year.
We signed and sold many players. The names we offloaded include Robinho, Baptista, Granero, Balboa, Soldado..etc I guess we transferred more players than we signed.
The most notable signings were Huntelaar and Rafael Van der vaar.
Performance-wise, we were up and down. In January, we were probably 10 points ahead of Barcelona and in just a few games they reduced the gap to 2. But we managed to earn more points in the upcoming games and they kept slipping up.
We also won the home match of EL Clasico. It was an incredible game!
We got knocked-out of the Champions League by AS Roma, but we won the league again. Statistically, it was an impressive year for Real and Schuster, Guti, Rau'l and Casillas have all broken some records.
However, as far as the current season is concerned, it has been pretty bad.
