If you happen to be a friend of mine on Facebook or are following me on Twitter, you know then that I have been sidelined in the last few days due to "vision issues". I broke my glasses the other day while playing in 5-a-side game and started wearing contact lenses in order to see well and play FOOTBALL!
Anyway, I'm back and to be honest, I'm surprised to see the names we are being linked to at the moment. I know that at this point in the season, the press can get really silly with their reports, but there were some confirmations about the intentions of signing some of those players.
Let's first start with Cristiano Ronaldo. A couple of days ago, I believe Ramón Calderón, our ex-president who failed us and rigged the assembly, was not ashamed and stated again (for the million time, I guess) that Ronaldo's deal was done. When he was the president, he kept promising that Ronaldo would come, the deal was absolutely closed, and nothing happened. He, however, this time is saying he is confident about it.
If you are a long-time reader of RealmadridTalk, then you know I'm not a big fan of Ronaldo mostly for his off-pitch attitude. I don't hate him, actually I'd love to see him at Real, but the problem is, his club doesn't want to sell him for whatever price, so why keep pursing the guy? It just sounds ridiculous to me. Those folks who are running for presidency (including Pérez, Calderón and whoever promised to bring Ronaldo in the past) are nuts. Instead of chasing a player that you WILL not get, go and look for someone else who has the desire to play for Real.

Buongiorno everyone! I've just woken up and I'm glad that I'm still alive. I had a long day yesterday which started by going to the beach and ended at a cool bar in Rome, and I'm about to go out now, but first let me talk about what has been going on with us recently.
David Beckham has said that he'd love to return to Madrid to join the club as a staff member or probably a coach. Well, he can't do that until his contract expires but it is really nice to know that Becks wants to come to Madrid and not to Manchester. But would he be a good coach? I can't imagine Beckham on the bench yelling at his players like this "Hey you, come back, come back!!!" or "Damn it, this is his last match, I will ask the club to sell that jackass" lol (I need your point of view on this)
Robinho has spoken out and said that he really wants to stay with us. He said what he doesn't...
