AC Milan's vice-president Adriano Galliani was quoted saying: "We are going to sign a great forward. Luis Fabiano and Huntelaar are options, but neither will arrive before Monday."
Well, I hope they manage to reach an agreement with Fabiano as soon as possible because I'd like Huntelaar to stay at Madrid. The arrival of Karim Benzema could mean, to some of you, that Huntelaar is no longer needed, but in my humble opinion, Huntelaar is a player that we need. He is the perfect replacement for Ruud Van Nistelrooy. He has played 20 games for us and scored eight goals. You have to consider that he only came...

Iker Casillas
Real Madrid has officially clarified the rumors linking Casillas to Manchester United. The only reason there is a profile of Casillas on ManUTD.com is that the English club keeps a database of former opponents (there are profiles for Guti, Rau'l, Zidane, Figo..etc). However, this doesn't deny that Fergie is interested in signing Casillas, and quite frankly, I'm surprised that he would think he can get someone as Casillas.
Sir...

The reason I haven't blogged in the last few days is because there hasn't been anything interesting. The same rumors and speculations are being reported in the press. The only new thing is Ronaldo's issues with Fergie and the possibility of him moving to Real Madrid.
Once again, like many of you, I'm tired and sick of the Ronaldo and Kaka rumors. They have been around for a long time and they have become very annoying. Neither the players nor their clubs want to talk so why is the press still obsessed with them? Maybe because they are selling more copies or getting more traffic? I think possibly yes...
The good news is that Perez is seriously looking into the possibility of signing Ribery from Bayern Munich. As you know, I'm a big fan of Ribery and I think we must sign him.. He is leaving Germany anyway, so it would be better for us If we got him. There is...

Dear Pedja Mijatovic,
My name is Adam Bader and I'm the Real Madrid blogger. I've heard that you are looking for a winger and there have been a lot of names mentioned in the press. Most of these names are not Real Madrid players in the sense that they could play for a big club like Real Madrid.
There is a little French guy who goes by the name of Frank Ribery. Back in 2006, when you and sir Ramon Calderon took over, I heard that he was going to move to Real, but instead went to Bayern Munich. Guess you guys didn't like how he looks, but now you should, and by the way he is handsome, and you MUST sign him if you want to win something this year.
He is incredibly fast. He dribbles well, he is a playmaker and not a trouble-maker, overall, he is damn good.
We have Robben, who is undeniably a fantastic winger, but he is not enough.
Since we sold Robinho, nobody has managed to play very well on the wing, of course, except Robben.
A while ago, Beckenbauer told me that he wouldn't resist Real if they approached Ribery, and today, Ribery called me to say that he loves Real and loves our history, so please book a ticket to Munich and sign him.
Ribery said:
"Clearly there are other clubs that make you dream - Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester United. But I like Madrid for their story and history."
So Mr.Mijatovic, If you think I'm stupid, I'm NOT ..... I'm sure everyone who reads this blog agrees with me, or don't you?
Hala Madrid!

Franz Beckenbauer, Bayern Munich's president, has admitted it would be hard to keep hold of some of his players if Real approached them.
He said that If Real's interest in Franck Ribery is serious then it will be very difficult for him to force the French international, whose his contract expires in 2011, to stay especially if he himself wishes to leave.
"Ribery only has two years left in his contract and If we receiver a good offer from Real Madrid or Manchester United we would then be in a weak position to negotiate, especially if Ribery wants to leave. We may still insist on a contract extension but if the offer is good enough, you never know what can happen", said the German legend
Personally, I think Ribery is the kind of player we REALLY need at the moment especially after we sold Robinho to Man City. He has the pace, skills and mentality that a player needs to have in order to lead a team like Real Madrid.
His performances with Bayern Munich have been phenomenal and honestly I was surprised when I read Beckenbauer comments because I had thought it would impossible for us to negotiate with the German giants over Ribery. However, as it seems, Calderon only needs to fax them first, get a ticket to Germany and get a deal stuck.
With Ribery on the squad, we won't have to rely only on Robben all the time which is stressful for the Dutchman.
However, there hasn't been any clear interest from Real, but you never know, while everyone was talking about Crespo and Tevez, Real were talking with Huntelaar.
