Is Selling Huntelaar The Right Thing To Do?

Tuesday, 14 July 09, 10:20 AM

This has been on my mind for a while now. I just keep thinking about it and it really worries me. I'm not a fan boy nor really gung-ho about Huntelaar, but he is a player that I think is one of the best on the market right now. He has unique characteristics such as his height and finishing skills, and these are what we are going to need. There are going to be tough games where clever-positioning and excellent finishing would snatch the three points. There also going to be times where we'd need to score no matter how and one of the ways to score is from set-pieces and headers and for that you need Huntelaar not Higuain or Benzema.

Looking at our frontline at the moment, you'd think that we have a lot of strikers. This is true, actually, the problem is caused by Perez' decision to bring both of Benzema and Negredo...

AC Milan want Huntelaar, Ribery wants Real + Maicon to Real?

Sunday, 05 July 09, 03:08 AM

Klaas Huntelaar to AC Milan?

AC Milan's vice-president Adriano Galliani was quoted saying: "We are going to sign a great forward. Luis Fabiano and Huntelaar are options, but neither will arrive before Monday."

Huntelaar

Well, I hope they manage to reach an agreement with Fabiano as soon as possible because I'd like Huntelaar to stay at Madrid. The arrival of Karim Benzema could mean, to some of you, that Huntelaar is no longer needed, but in my humble opinion, Huntelaar is a player that we need. He is the perfect replacement for Ruud Van Nistelrooy. He has played 20 games for us and scored eight goals. You have to consider that he only came...

It Is Official: Huntelaar Is A Real Madrid Player

Tuesday, 02 December 08, 01:29 PM

Huntelaar

I reported yesterday that Real Madrid had signed Netherlands striker Huntelaar from Ajax for an unknown fee. There were other reports that suggested that no deal had actually been done, but now everything is official as the club has announced it on its website.

Real Madrid Sign Klaas-Jan Huntelaar From Ajax

Monday, 01 December 08, 01:42 PM

Huntelaar

Marca, AS, El Mundo, Cadena SER and Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, have all confirmed that Real Madrid signed Ajax' striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar for an unknown fee.

The striker has been chased by many European clubs, however, it seems that he wanted to join his Dutch friends in Madrid.

Huntelaar's record is very impressive. He has scored 75 goals in 90 matches he played for his club and with his national team he scored 7 goals in just 11 matches.

Huntelaar will be able to play in the Champions League of course after he recovers from his injury from which he'll fully recover in January.

He'll certainly strengthen our attacking line. I have always thought that Villa would be better because he is more experienced, Spanish and stuff, but getting him is pretty difficult and I'm convinced that the club made a good signing because if you look at the strikers available in the market, you'd realize that it is rare that there is one capable of playing for Real Madrid.

Who Should Real Madrid Sign: Tevez, Benzema, Huntelaar, Crespo or Villa?

Sunday, 16 November 08, 03:01 PM

Bernd Schuster

Schuster: Who Could Save My Ass?

There are many names mentioned in the press and new ones pop up everyday. I'm only going to talk about those who could move to a club like Real Madrid and not about those who dream and wish they could move to Real Madrid, those including Vanger Love and Amr Zaki (no offense though).

Alright, so lets start with Carlos Teves. He plays for Manchester United but since ever they signed Barbatov he hasn't played that much. He is fast, he has good dribbling skills, good ball control, but what I don't like about him is that he is inconsistent and his attitude on and off the pitch isn't that good.

Additionally, we are looking for one who should be as good as Ruud, someone who could play a similar role and in this case, Tevez isn't the ideal candidate.

Karim Benzema, on the other hand, can to some point do Ruud's job. He can play as a stand-alone striker, he is physically strong, talented and young so he could be used for short-term and long-term purposes, however, there is one problem and that is his club, Lyon.

Their president is a smart person who knows how to negotiate well. Benzema's buy-out-clause is approximately 50m euros and with competition from the likes of Barcelona, AC Milan and Chelsea, it would be pretty hard to sign him.

Real Madrid Tell Robinho To Fuck Off & Schuster Wants Huntelaar

Thursday, 14 August 08, 04:38 AM

 Fuck off

This is the best news I've heard so far: Real Madrid Tell Robinho To Fuck Off! Awesome! Yeah, they are not going to let him go easily. Actually, Calderon held talks with Robinho and his agent and made clear to them that there is no way that he leaves. Done.

However, Chelsea officials are still hoping to snatch the kid. Wagner Ribeiro, Robbie's agent has said this to the Daily Star:

"I will try and do everything possible to get this resolved,"

"It is what Chelsea and Peter Kenyon want but there is no way they will pay what Madrid want."

So what does Madrid want in terms of money? Well, at least 35m euros. And Robinho says that is top...
