AS confirms that Florentino Perez has indeed reached an agreement with AC Milan over Brazilian superstar Kaka who will sign a five-year contract and will earn €9,120,000 a year at the Santiago Bernabeu.
This means that Kaka will say goodbye to his fans when Milan face Fiorentina this evening. During his six seasons with Milan, Kaka played in 192 games and scored 62 goals. This is not extraordinary, but it is impressive nonetheless.
He played a key role in Milan's Champions League triumph and was the competition's top-goal-scorer. He also won the Balon d'Or and the FIFA Player of the...

Many newspapers in Italy believe that Pérez has at least reached a verbal agreement with AC Milan over the transfer of Kaká to Real Madrid. What hasn't been agreed upon, however, is the personal terms with the player himself. According to many reports, Kaká demands a salary of €9m a year, which I personally find a bit exaggerating considering the current form of the player.
It is undeniable that Kaká is still one of the best players in the world, but €9m a year, at least for me, is a lot of money. I think he should earn €7m or €8m as a maximum, but there is a big chance that Pérez...

Kaká has rejected Man City's historical offer and decided to stay in Milan. Okay, that's a wise decision. But what If Real were coming with another historical offer, would he reject it as well?
Well, not according to David Beckham who has reportedly said that the Brazilian will join Real Madrid in June:
"I think someone has called him (from Real) and Kaká has made his decision (to leave)."
I think it makes sense for Kaká to move to Real. Moreover, it makes sense for Milan to sell him. He was surprised to find out that AC Milan were willing to sell him to Man City.
The English club offered Milan $161m, which is a lot of money -- why wouldn't Berlusconi sell him for that sum of money especially If he had Ronaldinho and Pirlo on the squad?

There are rumors that suggest that Fabio Cannavaro, whose contract expires this season, could return to Seria A this January when the transfer window re-opens.
Logically, Napoli is the club he is linked to most of the time since it is where he started and Naples is his hometown. However, there are other clubs including AC Milan and Juventus who are also said to be interested in the Italian skipper which makes things very interesting.
If you know me, then you'd know I'm a huge fan of Cannavaro. With bias or without it, he is the best center-back I have ever seen in my short crazy life.
However, I admit his form might have dropped towards the end of last season and the beginning of this season, but he has always been essential for Madrid (and for Italy too -- which is known for having tons of talented defenders). His performance recently against Barcelona was superb and he proved that he is a strong WALL (The Wall of Berlin) as many Italian fans dub him.
He possesses superb tactical awareness, speed, anticipation skills, phenomenal leaping ability and ball handling skills, and he’s a natural leader.
