Drenthe as a replacment for Robinho? Good idea, I say.
Robinho has held a press conference today announcing once again that he wishes to leave Real Madrid, heading to Chelsea. This is the second time that Robinho speaks about the issue publicly insisting that he is not interested in staying at the Bernabeu.
From what I understand, and from Robinho's statements, the club is still refusing to let him go unless they sign a replacment, something quite difficult considering that the transfer window is about to shut down.
"I have told Schuster and Pedja that I want to leave the club," Robinho told reporters. "The coach thinks that he can have me back, but I am only thinking about playing for Chelsea.
"My agent has gone to...

It is really complicated. First, Calderon said that Robinho was going nowhere, then Robinho said he was going somewhere, then Calderon said that Robinho would fuck off and go to Chelsea, and this morning, Chelsea started selling Robinho's shirts,... and now, Chelsea stopped taking shirt orders, it has gotten really complicated. Do you know why? Because Calderon is playing around, he has stated today that Robinho will not leave unless a replacement is signed, and guess who is that replacement? It is Drogba, yes Drogba + 30m euros would guarantee Robinho's signature.
Whether Chelsea will...

This is just in: Real Madrid have officially announced in a statement on their official website that they are not going to force Robinho to stay and therefore will terminate his contract if he wishes too.
This clearly means that it is over and Robinho is free to leave. However, what I...

Morning everyone,
After two days off at the beach in sunny Rome, here I am back in businuss. I thought that I missed a lot, but clearly, there hasn't been that much.
Robinho's situation looks to be quite at the moment with Real refusing to negotiate with Chelsea. Ramon Calderon has stated during an interview with BBC that Robinho is definitely going nowhere. He said that Bernd Schuster insists that the Brazilian international is an integral part of his squad and there isn't any replacments for him and there won't be as such a player is very difficult to replace.
Personally, I have always critisized Real Madrid for their treatment of Robinho. I myself have felt many times that he was undervalued, but you can't say for sure what has been going on between himself and the club unless you are...

Buongiorno a tutti,
It seems though that Chelsea are serious about Robinho as they have offered Real Madrid £48m for the Brazilian wonderkid, thats according to the Guardian UK.
Real Madrid were last night considering a bid which sources at the Bernabéu claim is worth €60m (£48m) for the Brazilian playmaker Robinho after the Chelsea chief executive, Peter Kenyon, called Madrid's sporting director, Predrag Mijatovic, to increase a €40m offer first tabled last Friday. However, the La Liga champions are reluctant to lose the 24-year-old Brazilian while their capture of Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo remains uncertain. Robinho, meanwhile, is determined to move to Stamford Bridge in order...

Sometimes the press gets very ridiculous with their daily #%^# rumors, but it is for their businuss right? Anyway, Skysports report that Dider Drogba is open to a move to Real Madrid as he may be out of Scolari's plans for next season. Drogba has previously expressed his desire to leave Chelsea (although Skysports state the opposite), and I thought that he'd join Inter since Mourinho became their coach, but maybe they just didn't call him and now he is turning to us. Here is what his agent has said:
"Why Not," Frelot said in the Daily Mirror when asked about the possibility of Drogba moving to the...

I know when a rumor is a rumor and when it is not and to be honest this one doesn't to be just another "silly rumor". Robinho's agent,
Vagner Ribeiro, says that he has recently met with Chelsea officials and discussed a possible move to the Stamford Bridge.
"It's true that Chelsea are interested in signing Robinho," said Ribeiro."They have been after him for a while and there has been much more contact since Scolari became the new Chelsea coach.I met with [Frank] Arnesen in London and he confirmed to me that Chelsea wanted my player for next season."
His agent also claims that
