Possibly great news from Javier. Now is the time for Hicks and Gillett to put their
money where their mouths are and buy Tevez. He would be awesome for us. Anyone who's seen him play for West Ham this year can see that he's a star in the making. The news that Xabi is going nowhere is a much needed boost after the low of Wed night. Does
this mean that Momo is likely to be sold to Juve or Barca? We are really
strong in midfield with Lucas coming in. If Rafa is to sell someone I assume it'll be Momo. The BBC thinks that Rafa has been offered cash for Owen. I'd be quite surprised if it happened given his injury history and wages.Like this blog? Help spread the word:
Mascherano is yet to be signed though isn't he? Liverpool have done a very odd deal to bring him there (bought his contract outright from Kia, but also agreed to be refunded and return X amount in the summer), so let's see. He'll probably stay now after having done well.
Oh yea thanks on Lucas. Not too sure about the Brazilians going to the prem. It takes alot for them to transition. Same with the Argentines. But we'll see.
Masch has got to stay. He is perfect for Liverpool. I hope we can keep Xabi as w well. I like Momo but he looks unsettled of late. If I had to choose one to go it would be Momo. But he is a great player. Wish we could keep him but he doesn't want to sit on the bench. Shame!
I'm a huge fan of Mascherano. He's been superb since he joined. I'm not 100% sure for the ins and outs of the deal. Some people say we signed him on loan for 18 mths for £1.5m while others think we've signed him for £10m.
Great things are expected of Lucas from what I hear. Given that he's been signed I feel that one of our other midfielders will be sold and it now looks like it'll be Momo.

Nope, he plays for Gremio in Brazil, and he's captain for the Brazilian U-21s. Highly rated, and very good on FM :)
