STEVE MCCLAREN, coach of Twente: «I am very disappointed because they had made most hard by opening score. After our purpose, my players would have been able to stay behind. But our style of game is carried on the attack. I knew that Rennes was very strong on sides. It is besides as it that they marked twice. They very badly began the second period. When they were led to score, my players very well answered. This purpose outside is very precious, they have good chances to qualify themselves. I wait for return with impatience.»

Stephane Mbia: «They a good was made start from match to this cashed purpose which stuns us. There were several occasions but they were not rather realistic. But once again, they showed our capacity to overturn tendency. It is a good ploy in this cut of Uefa. They knew what to expect. Twente is an impressive team on offensivement plan. The most important is victory. The second leg is not in our heads because they are already turned to Nancy.»

The Stade Rennais F.C. starts its meetings badly but manages, finally, to straighten the bar always.
