The Stade Rennais F.C. led twice to score but to the resumptions, Muc 72 came back to mark. Rennais will have battled up to the session of shooting in purpose to take the qualif down.

The Stade Rennais F.C. is in 8th of finale and it is really there the basics. Having taken by younger generation (Theophile Catherine, Bira Dembelé, prince Oniangué, Jires Kembo-Ekoko or else Felix Katongo), the players of Guy Lacombe delivered a full match by creating a group of occasions, made concrete twice. But defence was rennaise, not much tested gave in twice in last minutes.

Nice understanding Sow-Wiltord 

Rennais who evolves in 4-2-3-1 with Moussa Sow in the top of the attack develops a game from kickoff in depth of quality. Barely 30 seconds of game and mancelle defence is in trouble. Very within sight well thrown Moussa Sow, manages to tell difference in the surface of repairing and centre standing aside. Jires Kembo-Ekoko, opportunist, followed well and some dish of the foot opens score for SRFC!

Stage Rennais F.C. – Mans: 1 – 0 (Jires Kembo-Ekoko, 53rd minute)

Mans does not lay down weapon and prove to be menacing on blows of stopped feet. But it is the Bretons who remain the most dangerous. 63rd minute, Jires Kembo-Ekoko, right corridor, gets rid, on an acceleration, of Louvion and centre standing aside. Felix Katombo is there to take back the good centre standing aside but his striking leaves widely above the purpose of Peeling.

Mans does not find solution...
In spite of not enough time game of present players on the leaf of match, the collective rennais is oiled well and Mans seems in lack of imagination especially to the entrance of 35 metres. Gervinho in the 79th decide to try the luck. His striking is high-powered but Patrice Luzi, very serene throughout meeting deflect in corner-kick.

In the 95th minute, Olivier Thomert shoots a crossed striking which hardly misses purpose of Peeling.

Rennais seems to have made most hard but, once again, Mans comes back to score in last minute from continuations thanks to Gervinho who comes to shoot from loan Patrice Luzi.

" Red and Black» have to patientier up to the session of shooting in purpose to take their ticket down for 8th of finale of the Cut of the league.

Guy Lacombe can blow, he knows that he will be able to count on this greyish team which showed nice things and can concentrate from now on on the next match facing Nice in championship next Saturday.
