Another loss down to 10 minutes of losing our concentration and three of their goals were deep crosses going to the back post.  I'll put my hand up for not having the beans to chase the defense down for the 90 minutes but there were some pretty standard defensive errors here and against the best team on our league we were punished.

A combination of make shift sides and injuries is giving us a tough season but these lapses are disappointing when we are as good if not better than our opponents during periods of our matches. Last season we could do a Brasil by scoring more goals than our opponents but not this year - it's gone a bit like grandma (dried up at the front losse in the middle and leaky at the back)

so we finish the first half thinking...yeah we are on top of this game and unlucky not to be leading by a few goals with myself and Wrighty hitting the bar, getting shots saved and all on all not capitalising on the chances.  But yes, we are thinking another half on this and we are set for a victory. 

But then, we go down to a bizarre goal and sink into the habit of an under 11 side of putting 8 up front and lossing an additional 3 to counter attacks.  The middle of the park was a bog too, so instead of playing wide we hoof it down the middle, again dumb play.

we need to get our mentality sorted otherwise we'll be back in capital six!

Summary

Too many hangovers made for a lacklustre Slapperz performance, though we'll take the draw having gone down 3-1 with ten to go before two effective headers from centre backs (although one was playing striker and the other one was playing..in front of the striker).

Still, with the Slapperz to face top of the table, Wanui next Saturday, it's about turnning up early to get our feet screwed on right.
