The Signing of the Season!!

Although the transfer window is still open and the real rush of transfers is yet to real explode, Manchester United are on the brink of making the best signing of the summer. And no it's not Michael Owen.

Although Owen could well be a great bit of work by Sir Alex Ferguson, Its Gabriel Obertan who will be the real prize catch. Obertan a 20 year old attacking play looks set to arrive at Old Trafford for a rather small fee of £8 Million from French champions Bordeaux. Its thought that other big europian  clubs were interested like Inter and Barcelona but United are the only team to approach Bordeaux.

Obertan is like a young Cristiano Ronaldo, but without the need to do 567 step overs before crossing the ball. Having watched Obertan play for France in Recent Toulon under 21's tournimont in France he was clearly the best player in that French team, and a fee of just £8 million will prove to be a bargin if United can complete the deal.

Obertan can play Wide or down the middle and already has enough tricks in his locker to destroy the average premierleague full-back. I will look forward to his first season in England (should the deal be completed) with Great interest.
