Season 2009

2008 Premier League Champions Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) have decided to keep their original name and move back to Bangkok instead of being based in Ayuttaya and being named by the locals ' Faifa Ayutt'.

Several other sides have changed names, these being -

Bangkok University now Bangkok United

Port Authority now Thai Port

Royal Thai Navy now Raj Navy Rayong

Thailand Tobacco Monopoly now TTM Samut Sakhon

Krung Thai Bank folded and are now BG FC (Bangkok Glass)

Coke Bangpra folded and have been replaced by Pattaya United

The season begins on March 7th with four games being played on a Saturday and Sunday evening kick off between 5pm - 6.30 pm Thai time. Siam Sport TV will broadcast a game both evenings. NBT will also broadcast live games along with Channel 3 who have the rights to broadcast Bec Tero Sasana home games.
