Love him or hate him, or suggest that he's pretty much the best footballer ever to grace the Premiership - there's no doubt that Cristiano Ronaldo has been known to fling himself to ground a touch easier than many other players in the league.
Or conversely that despite his magnificent talent, he's a whinging little cheating fu*k
I'm saying nothing (ahem) as it's a Friday and I'm too busy preparing for tomorrow's exciting clash with Watford (oh dear)... Here's a video, apparently made by Unknowngenius1985 - that investigates a number of his techniques....

Ah man, this is a harsh post!!
You didn't mention that
i) he is also one of the most fouled players in the Premier Leauge. A lot of players cannot tackle the lad so the only way to stop him is to foul him.
ii) contact is a foul. Going to ground "easily" is not a dive.
iii) players who stay on their feet rarely get the foul. Going down may seem soft but it's the only way a referee will take note.
iv) pretty much ALL skillful and fast players are labelled as divers and may appear so. This is partly down to the fact that when running at speed, it doesn't take a lot to knock you off balance. Also the speed of the footwork often invites fouls.
Granted, he did dive early in his career but he has gotten much better.
I'll also have to agree he can be a whiny little git!
actually i give king of cheats to deago maradonna and rivaldo, both of which made the worst cheats ever in the world cup (maradonna should have been sent off for his hand of god goal, and should have missed the final, wheras rivaldo WAS penalized 1 game fr pretending he was hit in the face, but was overturned)....King of the divers......hell most top foreign players in the english premier league could take that crown........especially drogba

That was funny. I consider myself to be one of Ronaldo's biggest fan's, but I wouldn't agree he is a diver. But Ronaldo wouldn't be Ronaldo if he wasn't a diver, and him being a diver doesn't make him any less than the worlds best player that he is.
