Drogba is a fuckin' disgrace....

Wednesday, 06 May 09, 06:15 PM · Comments(39)

There’s nothing like top level football for witnessing grown men hurl toys out of their pram with indignity suited only to a tiny wailing child, but while the unlucky Darren Fletcher was unfairly sent off last night and took the referees blatant idiocy with grace and patience of a saint, tonight Didier Drogba showed a whole different side of footballing temperament.

For as referee Ovrebo had to be escorted from the pitch by a platoon of stewards, Drogba was apparently bent on a physical confrontation. To compound his intimidating behaviour, the Ivory Coast international then turned to a television camera and screamed into it, describing the official as a "f----- disgrace".

What a cunt... Yeah – the referee had a stinker, but hell Drogba is beginning to bore me. Screaming like a twat is all very well in terms of passion, but why doesn’t he back it up but I don’t know... buying all the fans who turned up to Catalonia last week to see him miss a grade A sitter a pint or two, rather than looking like a total nob-jockey in front of everyone

“you just cannot condone the behaviour of some of their players, especially Drogba. The fact that the Barca goal came so late probably made it even worse for the Chelsea players, but seeing players like Michael Ballack nearly hitting the referee is, as Drogba would put it, a disgrace, a f*ckin disgrace.”

I hope he’s banned for time!

Spoken like a true barca/manu fan. when rooney is up in arms in the faces of every referee you pussies keep your mouth shut so phuck Darren Fletcher. The refree was clearly biased in this game..........did you even look at the match Chelsea had at least two valid calls for penalties. Drogba is right it's a F***ing disgrace.I'm sorry the chelsea lot didn't show some guile and rush the field.

the fact is that this all happened cause he had 2 disgraceful misses himself over the two legs

just like the final last year, only himself to blame

i'm a barca fan!

but this writer is a bigger twat than drogba. its so easy to hate on drogba and you are jumping all over him. And you compare situation with fletcher's? If arsenal had "somehow" won, don't you think someone at united would face been in referee's face too? Maybe to a lesser degree but too many issues in the bridge game.

So go try kicking football, see how easy it would be; since you can't find nothing sensible to write about.

The referee made very bad calls, i totally agree with Drogba. I am certain Chelsea would have won this game if they were given the penalty chances they deserved. However, Drogba needs to learn to control his anger a bit better.

All you talk about are the "possible" penalties Chelsea had, but none of you idiots mention the clear penalty Barca had in the first leg when Henry was pulled from behind. Now we know Henry does not fall down as easily as Drogba and Ballack. I hope Drogba, Ballack, and also Terry get life bans!! Now go back and cry for not winning anything this season.

the game is over but all you have to do is look at the ref's face after the match, no remorse. it's obvious he called this game in barca's favor. if he truly felt he was calling it right, don't you think he would've given ballack a yellow card for yelling at him near the end of stoppage?

It just shows the teams true face: instead of just playing ball they go annoy the referee.
I understand Ballack's disappointment with loosing, but attacking the ref????? Hey, Michael! You should attack the goalpost, that has Valdes in it, not other people!

Of course Fletcher and Drogba would react differently, man u was thrashing Arsenal at that point; Chelsea on the other hand got robbed so many times, but Drogba had numerous chances to put the game away and he didn't so screw all of them..Forza Milan Next Year....

Chelsea deserved everything they got tonight...and Oscar for Drogba can shut his gob..after all he spent most of the time during the Liverpool quarters licking the f*cking pitch, falling on the floor 'injured' then prancing around like a sping chicken. Dider Drogba is a cheating c*nt and Chelsea are nothing but a rich mans stoke!

Chelski got everything they deserved tonight...and no matter what the ref did there is no getting past the fact that Drogba is a cheating c*nt! He spend most of the quarters against Liverpool licking the f*cking pitch, pretending to be injured, then jumping round like a dog on heat when they got through...Chelsea are no better than a rich mans Stoke!

Not the best ref'd game I've ever seen. Not the worst either (by far). Drogba and Ballack should be suspended for a year - minimum. Terry: several games.

He DID give Ballack a yellow for yelling at him near the end of stoppage!

??? I would like to ask one simple question to all those who justify the behavfiour of both Ballack and Drogba???

Were we they when Anelka clearly tripped over his own feet and the ref left Barca with 10 men over it?

Yeh Manure are just as bad but that doesn't justify the inability of Chelsea to understand when and where you receive penalties.

I cant honestly believe anyone with the above comments can condone Drogba's behaviour. Yes the ref made mistakes, yes chelsea were unlucky but those players are role models to young children and the disgrace we witnessed last night is only going to lead to youth of today challenging, referees, teachers, parents, police etc etc when they feel agrieved because they see their role models do it and get away with it....anyone who condones that sort of behaviour needs to take a long hard look at themselves

We all saw what brand of football was played overall during the two legs..
Do you chelsea fans really feel that your team playing at your own so called "fort" defending all 97 minutes with 9 centre backs really deserve to be in the final..
I am so glad that the very best team over the two legs went through.
When barca went a men down as well as a goal down see the work that daniel alves puts in knowing even that he wins it for his team he has just to be a spectator in rome..
And we all expected that the game was all over at 70 minutes when the red card was brandished
But really did the barca players thought so??
The answer is flat forward NO!!
Simply beacuse they never stopped going. You have got to admire this barcelona side rather than crying all the time.
And as far as Drogba is concerned "He is a cheat"..
Ya, make no mistake about it,,he lost u against united in moscow for putting hands on vidic and had some awful misses again today,,
He hobbled during the match but not while running to the referee..

thats pathetic that you speak of role models. just cos they are footballers doesnt mean they dont have emotions too. if you were in that same position im pretty sure you would of acted the same way. i dont think that in the rush of it all you wud stop and thing nah the little kids are watching we cant do anything. its a semi final. one game away from the final. your pathetic if you think chelsea didn;t have the right to do what they did. and your telling everyone drogba ballack and terry deserves suspensions?
the ref needs a suspension for not being fit for the job. if you didn't know already guardiola praised terry for being a gentlemen and going into the barca rooms and congratulately them for the win. did the ref get hit by ballack or drogba? no he didn't he just got told what many people around the world would of told him. barca is the best team in the world no doubt about it but chelsea were the better team and if they were 2-0 up with atleast one penalty given it would of been a different story.

i think this referee is rugby referee, not footabll referee. cause some barca players were defending the ball by hand not by leg. all barca player were goal keepers,. not only the two hand ball panelties but what about yaya toure bad tacle to drogba twice, and also to anelka.

i hope this referee woud be banned for ever from play football gain. praise to be for drogba and ballakl. the referee get what he deserved. and i hope uefa to praise drogba and ballak reation to ward referee.

the referee and uefa dont want an all english final again. everybody knows it, nobody should talk other shit. it's quite clear.
explain me after the handball from pique why the referee didn't spoke to the assistant. in every league in the world they do this if something is unclear. for me it is quite clear uefa are criminals and i can understand the chelsea players are furious. absolutly i can understand them. barcelona is in the final because of the referee.

Nobody here can serious say they think Drodba's actions were justified surely? I understand frustration etc etc. But screaming into a TV camera the words "Fucking Disgrace" is beyond decency.Just to be totally pedantic its also an criminal offence under the public order act. So lets get this thing right everyone's got a right to be pissed off but nobody has the right to behave in that manner in public.

He's a highly paid footballer end of story. Winning and losing is part of the game end of story. Being a famous highly paid footballer doesn't give anybody the right to act like that end of story.

The worst decision in the match was sending the Barca player off but for some strange reason Mr Drogba didn't find that a "Fucking Disgrace". Fancy that....

Totally agree Potlid - and all for those who have come on here calling me a twattish Manchester United fan - sort yourselves out. Although one of our writers is a fan of the Red Devils, I personally couldn't give a flying fuck about which big money team made it through to the final...

Only that Drogba was way out of line... OK, so a number of you have come on justifying attacking the ref because he lost Chelsea the game? Well what about when Drogba lost it for you the week before with terrible finishing....?

Anyone who attacked him would have probably been locked up, and rightly so!

And those of you who talk about passion for the club... Was this the same player who told a French football magazine he was unhappy at the Bridge and wanted to leave?

Was Drogba playing for the shirt, or I put it to you... was he more annoyed because he lost out on the chance of touting himself a massive win bonus?

So If someone is being paid lots of money their democratic right to protest has somehow been waived?
while I agree that the sending off of Abidal was one of many terrible decisions but thats for the barca players to react not drogba or any other chelsea player out there. Since when dose a foul in the penalty box result in a free kick and not a PK. Even the damm official admitted - after the fact that he had made "significant errors". Again I stress who gives a free kick and not a PK for an offense committed in the box. For those of you with selective memory look at the foul on molouda.

Potlid
Potlid Wrote: | 18.40BST | May 7, 2009

Democratic protest, democratic protest what are you on about. Your not comparing Drogba to Emily Pankhurst and Ghandi surely to god??

Drogba was something else begining with "P" and that's PETULANT. Nothing more or less. My post opened asking for anybody to justify his actions? Obviuosly you think it's ok to swear into a TV camera with millions watching. Unfortunately for you Drogba has just issued an apology for his actions last night so you look a bit of twat now don't you?

A make that a win by knockout to me.

Potlid
Potlid Wrote: | 18.56BST | May 7, 2009

So far I haven't said anything about the football. 1 nil up with 20 minutes to go against 10 men. You lot are on here complaining you didn't get a couple of penalties. They should have been history Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd would all have finished them off penalties or not. WHY??? Coz they would have attacked them that's WHY. Chelsea sat back invited them on and got everything they deserved which was nothing. Torres, Fabregas, Ronaldo would have eaten them for breakfast.

If Man Utd are in the same position in the final how many of you can see Barca lifting the trophey. Not so fucking many I'll bet so be honest.

Maybe you would. Maybe some of use humans are not as perfect as YOU. This is earth, go back to klaptune, you robot.

So you haven't heard then? I said Drogba's actions were bang out of order at 14:43 BST. Three hours later Drogba and Chelsea release statements saying he was bang out of order.

Brainless yarble eh? So who's Brainless yarble would that be mine, Chelsea's or Drogba's?? Same point of view surely? Only mine is sincere coz Chelsea and Drogba are just trying to avoid large punishments from UEFA.

What planet am I from? Planet fucking reality mate.

If having a point of view is shallow then thank god for shallow, but in the absence of a decent argument resort to insults eh?

As said earlier, you sound like a ManU/Barca fan finding hard to accept the fact that Chelsea has been cheated. It's so silly for you to compare the incidents to Fletcher's.

It is a disgrace to football. The good game has been spoiled by few dickheads in UEFA and Barca.

f***in disgrace??! f***in bullsh*t is what you speak! I was trying to cheer for Barca, while my wife is a Chelsea fan. But I didn't want to win like that. Give Iniesta credit for the goal, but Chelsea WAS robbed at least twice (according to Barca fan, four times if you ask my wife). Drogba and Ballack were in their rights and deserved no more than the yellow they were given. Ballack showed absolute restraint. That referee should never oversee international football again! Get off your high horse and stop expecting a g*ddamn handshake after the referee handed down horsesh**t to Chelsea.

chelsea played their hearts out..for this lame as ref to come and practicaly give the barcelona a birthday present..

UEFA shouldn't sanction Drogba, as any man would have reacted the same way, if in his position.
Plus.. UEFA should have appointed a more PROFESIONAL REFEREE for such an IMPORTANT match..

BUT anyways.. Manchester united will still win the finals.. no matter who it is =D
