With so much going on in local football me being a bit bored on a Sunday afternoon, it's time to get our teeth into local football and what goes on at the 'grass roots'. Which
is what we're about after all.
Wonderful site and soon to be friends of these pages (if they continue to bring us dynamite like this) are the lovely folks at thisisbristol.co.uk. They've reported about local crew Long Ashton FC who are, quite literally, baring all for TV. Channel 4 have up with a new way to titillate teenage boys by coming up with a programme called The Sex Education Show. I can picture the disappointment in so many bedrooms across the country when the boys find out it's all about safe sex and not catching anything when you dip your wick. Ah well fellas, that's what the internet was invented for. Seriously, though, the brave chaps from Long Ashton tell us everything about their sexploits, from going bareback (a no-no apparently, who'da thunk it?) to having their cocks measured to ensure correct condom size (seriously? when you can use a crisp packet...or cling film?). Insert own joke about dirty tackles.
Thanks to Kent Online for this next one. Kevin Braniff - you know, the ex-Millwall, current Portadown player. No? Me neither - is sleeping easier tonight having been let off the hook by a judge in Kent who took pity on his 'If I get sent down I'll get sacked' plea. Accused of assaulting a man in a nightclub having downed 10 pints of lager, Braniff eventually owned up to it having previously been seen trying to wipe blood from his shoes with a ice cube. Idiot. Also questionable is the judgement of Philip Statman, the judge who let Braniff off with a fine and a suspended sentence when we all know what he should have done is send the geezer down and get him the number of Kevin Keegan. He'd have given him a job.
