Luton have had a bad lot of it this year… From cock-bag Barwick stealing 30 points from them earlier in the year to more bollocks from the FA, they’ve struggled against all adversity and somehow still (just about) have an (admittedly very outside) chance to stay up, and have made the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final at Wembley – in what will no doubt be a fitting swansong to the loyal reams of happy Hatters who have stuck by their team throughout.

Now though – in yet another setback, and one that makes (further) mockery of an FA who banned highly paid, highly rated Didier Drogba for 3 games after he pinged a coin into a baying crowd, it seems that Hatters Club captain Kevin Nicholls has been charged with improper conduct and has been handed a five match ban and a £1,000 fine – after a scuffle at the end of Luton’s recent game at Bradford City.

Sure – fine him, maybe a ban for a game or two… But 5 games? Did he gouge someone’s eyes out, throw a coin recklessly into the crow… [oh wait, we’ve already been there] – FA – leave Luton alone! You know what needs sorting out? West Ham illegally fielding a player for a season, who single-handedly kept them up, and the disastrous litigation that will now filter through the entirety of British football – that’s what!

Or perhaps you should file it on the to-do list right after ‘take another punt at Luton Town, destroy any semblance of football club they have left before taking the rest of the afternoon off, sighing contentedly whilst mopping your fat sweaty brow!’ Well sort it out, or the Luton fans (one particularly wolf-like one pictured) are going to get you!
