Shear Lunacy

Wednesday, 01 April 09, 02:37 AM · Comments(4)

Whether he's ready or not, capable or not, willing or not, the powers that be at St. James' Park today decreed in the best April Fool of the day to install Alan Shearer as manager until the end of the season.

I rejoice. For two reasons. Reason One - after a brief uplift in performance (maybe one match) they will slump to relegation, wiping that grin off the smug bastard's phizzog. Reason Two - Match Of The Day will once again become bearable and I will no longer have to see the crotch of his too-tight pants as he sits impossibly open legged next to Original Alan or Mark.

Oh. I thought of a Reason Three. All those shirtless Geordie fuckwits crying when their team goes down.

Nice one Newcastle, gave me a little chuckle over my Cheerios this morning. You have until midday to let us all know it was a funny. Please.

Shearer was a great player. Manager? nope. he has no experiance at all. How can you let a person with no experiance manage a premiership club ? i though they wanted to stay up.
The only reason ashly has done this is so he can say to the fans, You asked for him here he is, we still went down! not my fault.
Ashley recked the club, they wage bill is STUPID!! and they dont have one decent player. DONT DARE SAY OWNE IS DECENT.! he has more injuries then a fucking skoda needs repairs!!! crap.

I can fully understand Shearer going though.. What does he have to lose..? If they goes down the toon army will all still love him, and he can just say they were too far gone when he came. If he does keep em up, he is an even bigger hero, and he nets £2 million quidaroos for 8 matches.

I hope they go down personally. I am not big fat Sam's hugest admirer, but I reckon if they had just stuck with him, they would not be in this predicament now..... The fans who all shouted abuse week in week out at him, deserve whats coming to them.. and he'll save rovers instead...

Problem is they think they are better than they are. and did not give big fat sam a chance to get going.... Reap what you sow geordies..

also, when they finally got their wish and got Keegan back... he probaly would also have kept them up this season.. Not being a big Geordie fan, I dont know the ins and outs, but it seems rather than sack Dennis Wise, Ashley let him go.... So thats two managers they should have given more of a chance and support to..
