Time 4 Technology?

Wednesday, 20 August 08, 07:25 PM

Isn't it about time that Football started using technology? Like Hawkeye and the like... Especially when you consider Sports like Tennis and even an old man Sport like Cricket! Have started using things like this for quite sometime now. Added to this is the fact that we are now living in 2008. Isn't it about time that Football got with the programme... it is after all the biggest Global Sport in the World, and lets face it cameras are everywhere in today's society why not in Football? I am sick of Officials... Referees, and Linesman constantly making wrong or incorrect decisions! Am I alone? Surely with a little help, with the use of Technology we could get some more consistency decisions wise? Of course some people would argue that is the beauty of the game, to cause disagreements, controversy and talking points. But i would say that is all good and well to an extent, but everything has it's limits!

Tell me what you think...

Thursday, 31 July 08, 12:24 AM

David Bentley has this evening signed for Spurs, from Blackburn. For a fee believed to be £15m rising to £17m. At the same time of writing, Tottenham have also agreed personal terms, with the Russian superstar... Andrei Arshavin; dubbed the white Maradona... Although it is believed that the deal has hit a snag, as a fee cannot be agreed between Tottenham, and the players current club Zenit St Petersburg. What are your thoughts my fellow Tottenham fans... Are you happy with the signing of Bentley? And if Arshavin comes... Will he be able to fill the boots, of a certain Irishmen who has since departed? Come... Enlighten me...

Who were your heros?

Thursday, 24 July 08, 01:19 AM

Football is undoubtedly in my eyes the Greatest Sport in the World... It has captivated me since childhood to the present day... I remember growing up and watching games with my Dad... Like it was yesterday... I instantly fell in love with the Beautiful game. My first Football hero was Glenn Hoddle, as he was the darling of White Hart Lane at my Club Spurs, and a Football Genius... A word used too lightly for too many... Later and probably my biggest Hero's... Were none other than Paul Gascoigne aka Gazza & Gary Lineker, who were a joy to watch and brilliant in there own right... But who were your Hero's? Whoever you support... Who did you grow up idolizing?

Which formation should Ramos play?

Sunday, 20 July 08, 01:25 AM

With the new Premier League season fast approaching, and the transfer market really hotting up! A lot of Tottenham fans would be forgiven, for having other things on their minds! Not least the Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane situation... But whatever happens? I feel safe in the knowledge that in Juande Ramos, we have a proven winner. Whom i have every faith in, doing what is necessary to make us successful again... He will certainly be armed with a war chest, if the figures of players leaving are to be believed? But what I am most intrigued about, is seeing which way he will go tactically? Once all his new players are in place... Which formation will he deploy? Will he use a standard 4-4-2? or maybe go with one up top, and pack the midfield in a 4-2-3-1? Or will he try something altogether different? What do think... He will play? Or better still what do think... He should play?

Spurs report both Liverpool & Man Utd

Friday, 18 July 08, 08:38 PM

Tottenham Hotspur Chairman Daniel Levy has this evening made a statement, with regards to both Liverpool and Manchester United... Whom he claims have been illegally tapping up Spurs strikers Robbie Keane & Dimitar Berbatov.

In light of Manchester United complaining about Real Madrid's constant pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo, it is to applauded that the Levy has come out and made this stand against these bully boy tactics from two of England's biggest clubs... Whose hypocrisy is nothing short of a disgrace! Do you agree? What are your views on both Benitez and Alex Ferguson? Do you feel they have acted correctly?

The Black Cats attempt audacious Spurs quadruple!!!

Friday, 18 July 08, 01:53 PM

The rumor mill is at it again.. This time the media are claiming that Sunderland Manager Roy Keane is making a move for not one, not two, not three... But four Tottenham players!!! One of which is Younes Kaboul... Whose agent has claimed, that his client would not even join to the North east club if there was an earthquake! which has got to make you laugh! The other players at the centre of a reported £23m bid!!! Are the reliable Steed Malbranque, Teemu Tainio & Pascal Chimbonda.

What do you reckon Spurs fans would you be glad to see the back of these players... Are you happy with the fee, and who would you like to see come in to replace them???

Which is the greatest side in English Football history?

Wednesday, 16 July 08, 10:12 PM

There have been so many great sides, during many different eras of the English game... But putting bias to one to one side, which team is the greatest? Obviously the likes of Manchester United have dominated the modern game, but during the 60's Spurs won the first ever double, during the 70's Leeds were a force to be reckoned with & during the 80's Liverpool were the team to beat. Having said all that... If you had to choose one side that was the best, who would it be? Maybe Manchester United when they won the Treble in 1999? Or even dare i say it the Arsenal team, that went 49 games unbeaten? What do you reckon? Your views please...

But remember try remain impartial if at all possible & keep in mind this isn't just about who has won the most trophies, or who has been the most successful team... No this is about "pure" Football... What the Dutch call "Total" Football... & who plays the beautiful game the way it should be played, in other words George Graham's Arsenal won't count here...
