The general consensus so far is that the Title will be a 2 horse race between Manchester United and Chelski, with quite few of you thinking that Spurs can crack the Top 4? This will be some achievement if they manage to do it, as it has almost become mission impossible... The search for the holy grail the promised land... Certainly the riches that it would bring would be monumental.

This is a hard one to judge. Most of the "top guns" so to speak have all improved their squads. I would love to say Liverpool will win it, but that's coming from a positive kopite! Hmmm... I think it will be a tight race, which might involve more than the top two! I think Liverpool could push Chelsea and Man United, and i think Arsenal will! However the top 6? Probably the usually suspects take the top four! Order? Wouldn't like to say! The other two places will go to Everton and Spurs. But keep an eye out on Villa this season, and even City/Pompey! They will be the dark horses!

I know I'm an optimist but think on this.
Fergy, Scolari and Whinger are all very good coaches but they have been around a long time. Maybe Juande is the new wave with new ideas that is about to turn the world upside down.

maybe maybe you are entitled to your opinion hmmm? Like everyone else... However we have gone from two extremes here with davemackay who is the eternal optimist, predicting a Top spot for the Spurs (I have already told him what i think of that) and you who claims a 10th placed finish...

Which is just plain ridiculous! If you knew anything about Football you wouldn't make such idiotic claims... If you take a look i said somewhere in between, 5th to be exact and i think that is more than achievable for a team that had a major hiccup last season, but who had finished there (5th) the previous 2 seasons and have had major cosmetic surgery since... Added to that they have now got a World Class manager, proven by his trophy haul (at Seville) Oh and in case you didn't know he won a Cup at Spurs within little less then six months at the Club.

As for your claims money can't buy you talent i have never heard such a load of old cobblers, as it clearly has... Bentley, Giovani & Modric are all quality and if you don't believe me just wait and see... maybe maybe then you will know not to come on here with your stupid & biased opinion.

For 3rd Place:
Liverpool (13)
Arsenal (5)
Chelsea (5)
Man Utd (4)

My answer is at the bottom, but I just want to get something off my chest. "The more things change, the more they stay the same". I never really understood what that meant or how it could apply to anything, how could that be? it became all too clear this weekend just gone. A new look Tottenham, manager included ("give him a full season,it's not fair to judge him by last year's half season"-yeah right; I miss Martin "Tony Sopprano" Jol), but more of the same old-same old. A new forward partnership combining strength, agility and intelligence-no goals. A new potent midfield of experience, creativity and speed-can't send a ball into the box if they actually picked the ball up,took it to FedEX and paid premium for same day delivery into the bloody penalty box. New look defence with Zokora's calm and steady influence to be cancelled out by the numb nutted shenanagans of Esso-Shell-Mobil-Ekotto. The same defeat on the road versus a team that could be described as crap at best. If we have any aspirations of making the top 4,hold on,what have I been smoking?Top 6,it's the Boro's of the league that we should be beating, home, away and on the moon,it shouldn't matter where we play them,it should be an easy 3 pointer even under the sea. Now I know why WHL has the plushest, greenest, most beautiful lawn in the premier league,it's because every 2 weeks or so,$100M of manure is spread all over it! I am fuming at yet another poor start to the season. "It's only one game" I hear you say,"no need to get so riled up", but when you see the scum eeking 3 points,Chelsea trouncing Pompey,Liverpool beating the team that beat us in last season's opener (I am still upset at that),Villa making easy work of this year's relegation contender Man they're so Shitty;my prediction for this season's final spot is 11th. If we qualify for Europe through Inter-Toto, it would be a miracle. Here we go again,Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspurs,as the Spurs Go Marching ON ON Onto another season of mid table mediocrity

ChimpanZee I completely understand your frustrations, and i think they are echoed by a lot of Tottenham fans... even though like you say only 1 game has been played, it's just not good enough! Against a team we should be beating comprehensively with all due respect, if we want to achieve anything.

Even more so considering the huge amount of money, we have spent in comparison to our rivals... Putting that all to one side though, i still think we cannot constantly have chopping and changing of the Manager, when things do not go our way... What we need to do is get behind Ramos, and give him the time that he needs without trying to sound contradictory.

Keep the faith in Ramos we trust!

u need to slowly bring in players into the team ..not throw them in straight away....money can't make a team good..can make a bunch of mercenaries come make a mark and then leave for higher salaries...learn from ur neighbours how they breed new kids slowly into the team and that too on one tenth of ur budget...u people expect too much too soon..getting rid of Jol was a mistake after he made others to sit up and take notice of tots...fergie and arsene will never be treated like that...Santos, mordic , bently all are here not to win but perform indivisually and go to madrid, barca or man U...11th is much too harsh...10th is where u'll land this time.

and the saying goes "In Arsene we trust"...trust me Ramos will leave sooner than he left Sevilla if a better team comes for his service...maybe u shouldn't trust him so blindly...sevilla paid badly by trusting him

Thanks for advice but why don't you worry about your own team? Who ever they may be... Having said that each to there own, and we'll leave it at that.

One finally thing though this Post isn't about Spurs, need i remind you... but about who will finish in the Premier League's Top 6.

Chelsea certainly look very strong, if the opening game is anything to go by?
